The Bold and the Beautiful recap, April 7: Sheila confronts Taylor with a pizza cutter

Here's your recap for The Bold and the Beautiful episode, Monday, April 6, 2026, as Sheila confronted Taylor over her affair with Deacon, Hope checked in with her dad, and Daphne Rose and Carter got baby fever.

What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

In Taylor's office, Sheila demanded to know if Taylor and Deacon were having an affair. Sheila grilled Taylor about finding her alone at her house, having Il Giardino pizza. Taylor tried to cover, but Sheila asked a few questions about when she had ordered it and what kind it was. As Taylor struggled to find answers, Sheila let her know that she had found sand in Deacon's shoes the next day. Sheila pointed out that Taylor lived with Steffy near the beach.

"You've been cheating behind my back," Sheila shouted, demanding that Taylor just admit it. Taylor asked Sheila to calm down. She jumped back when Sheila made an advance towards her.

Taylor said she couldn't talk about Deacon as he was her patient. Sheila countered that Deacon was no longer her patient. "Just stop. Stop with your lying," Sheila stated. She wanted to know if this was a passing thing between Taylor and her husband. "There are no real feelings here, right?" Sheila wondered.

"You're right. I've been seeing Deacon, but I can't call it an affair. It's so much more," Taylor admitted. "We're in love, Sheila. Deacon and I are in love." Taylor apologized, but admitted that Sheila deserved the truth.

Sheila said that she'd been telling folks for months how wonderful Taylor was. "I believed that you were some sort of miracle worker," Sheila said. She then accused Taylor of being selfish and unethical. "How could you cross that line not only as a doctor but as a friend, a confidante. I admired you. I looked up to you. I idolized you, and the whole time you were stabbing me in the back, going after my husband."

Taylor apologized, saying she was sorry. "I'll bet you are," Sheila shouted, announcing that this was stopping right now. She said Taylor would respect her marriage.

Taylor said that she and Deacon want a future together. She stated that she and Deacon were in love. "No, Deacon and I made a commitment," Sheila said. "I am his wife!"

Sheila picked up a pizza cutter and looked at her reflection in it. She asked Taylor if she was afraid of her. Sheila informed Taylor that she wasn't the same woman who stole Lauren Fenmore's baby all those years ago. "Did you really think that you could have a future with my husband? Is that what you thought? We're the ones who are married!" Sheila stated.

"A lot of people think that I am crazy, a bit unhinged, but I'm not," Sheila said. Taylor pointed out that Sheila came into her bedroom with a knife, but Sheila asserted that she was trying to save her as she thought she was being attacked.

"Don't put this on me," Sheila said. "I'm not the bad one here. I'm the one who has grown."

Taylor spied the pizza cutter after Sheila had put it down. Sheila's rant continued. "I'm not going to let you come between us. I'm not going to even let you try," Sheila said.

Then, Sheila picked up the pizza cutter opener, and a lamp fell, sending the room into partial darkness. Sheila used the cutter to hack away as Taylor screamed. Then, Sheila licked the blade when she was finished.

Hope For Deacon's Future

At Il Giardino, Hope asked Deacon if Sheila was on to him. Deacon recapped Hope on his close encounter with Sheila and Taylor. Deacon pointed out that Sheila would not keep her feelings inside. She would have demanded to know right away what was going on. Hope surmised that Deacon felt he'd dodged a bullet.

Deacon said that Steffy already knew about him and Taylor. Hope said that she assumed Deacon had already gotten a lecture. Deacon said that Hope knew Steffy well and that Steffy told him if she wanted to cheat on his wife, he should choose someone other than Taylor. Deacon said that it wasn't about that. He can't fathom the idea of never seeing her again.

House call

Steffy was glad to see Finn arrive home. He wondered what was going on. Steffy said she had news about his birth mother, Sheila. Steffy recapped Finn about Sheila showing up with a knife at the house, and surmised that if she'd seen Deacon and Taylor together, Sheila would have used the knife on them.

Steffy pointed out that Taylor has been vulnerable ever since Ridge dumped her, and Deacon took advantage of that. Steffy said that Deacon, Taylor, and Sheila all need to come to their senses.

Baby, maybe

Carter and Daphne Rose talked about having a baby someday. Carter said that he couldn't stop thinking about having a child. Daphne Rose wondered if she was already pregnant. They decided to take a pregnancy test.

Daphne Rose told Carter that even if the home pregnancy test, despite its level of accuracy, came back positive, they'd still want to confirm it with a doctor. Carter was thrilled over the idea of him and Daphne Rose having a child.
