The Bold and the Beautiful Recap, April 7: Sheila STUNS Taylor with her next bold move

Here is your The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Tuesday, April 7, 2026, when Sheila explained to Taylor something she already knew — what it feels like to be cheated on.

What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

In Taylor's office, Sheila continued to hack away with her pizza cutter as Taylor screamed no and fell to the floor. As expected, Sheila hacked a pizz and not Taylor before licking the sauce off the wheel. Taylor tried to reason with Sheila, telling her that if she killed Taylor, then her marriage would be over.

Sheila knew how ridiculous that sounded, so she rightfully accused Taylor of not caring about her marriage since she was ready to sleep with Sheila's husband. Taylor claimed that it just happened. She didn't actually go after Deacon. "Isn't that what all cheaters say?" Sheila asked. "Did you really think you could just take what was mine because that's just not going to happen?"

Sheila noted Taylor's fear and put down the pizza cutter. "I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I am not the crazy person you keep telling my husband I am," Sheila whispered. Sheila noted that Taylor, of all people, should believe in rehabilitation.

"I do," Taylor said. "But just not for someone like me," Sheila countered. "You don't think someone like me deserves love?" Taylor said she did, but when she looked into Sheila's eyes, she saw someone who goes to extremes. "Look at your feet. You cut off your own toe. You faked a bear attack," Taylor pointed out.

When Sheila walked toward the pizza cutter again, Taylor begged her not to go back to her old ways. "You have a choice. You've changed. You don't have to spin out of control," Tayloe said, as Sheila absorbed her words. "You think I should take the high road and hand my husband over to you?" Sheila asked.

A desperate Taylor offered to help Sheila become close to Finn, saying Steffy would listen to her, as if she were trading Finn for Deacon. Sheila wasn't sold. "You think I'm stupid, don't you? Why would I listen to anything you say?" Sheila asked.

"The old Sheila would have snuffed you out right now because you don't deserve Deacon's love. That love is MINE!" Sheila cried. "I am NOT that person anymore, but you want me to turn into that monster you think I am, but who is the real monster in this room? Is it possibly the person who put her trust in someone or the person who betrayed that trust in the worst possible way?"

Sheila walked out of the room, but not before declaring that Deacon would see the monster that Sheila really was and return to her.

In Deacon's apartment, Hope tried to convince Deacon that he needed to stay away from Taylor, for now at least. Deke then walked in to learn that Steffy knew about what happened with Deacon, Taylor, and Sheila the night before. "Nothing is going to be okay, Dad, until Sheila is safely out of your life," Hope said.

They wanted him away from Sheila, but they warned him that he had to extricate himself carefully. "We just have to keep this quiet until I can figure out a way to end my marriage without Sheila..." Deacon trailed off. "Killing someone," Deke finished.

After Hope and Deke left, Sheila quietly returned home. She told him that she had an important appointment. Deacon could see that something was wrong and was alarmed when he saw the nurse's uniform. Sheila explained as much as she could. "There's something I needed to know," she said, and went into the tale of seeing the pizza box at Steffy's house.

When Sheila told him about the sand, Deacon realized what was happening. He asked if Sheila had seen Taylor, so she told him that she saw him touch Taylor "with such tenderness that was supposed to be given to me." A tear-filled Sheila begged Deacon to just lie to her. "Lie to me and I'd believe you," she said. Sheila also told him that Taylor had confessed. "When did you decide that I was no longer worthy?" Sheila asked. Deacon finally admitted the truth.

A concerned Finn told Steffy that Sheila knew the rules and wouldn't show up there. Steffy reminded Finn that Sheila didn't play by the rules and was already at their house holding a knife. As Steffy went on and on, Ridge walked in. Steffy had asked him to come over to discuss the Taylor and Deacon situation. Ridge didn't care what happened to Deacon.

Ridge was horrified to know what had happened when Steffy and Finn were camping. "He's married to a psychopath. I can't believe he came over here," Ridge exclaimed. Steffy complained that Deacon and Taylor didn't care about the consequences of their actions. Finn was also worried about Deacon. He felt Sheila might go after her.

Carter and Daphne continued to stress about the pregnancy test she had just taken. They hoped that this would be it, but when Daphne looked at the test, she was crushed to see that it was negative. Carter assured Daphne that she would become pregnant soon.

Daphne admitted that she'd never realized how much she'd wanted a baby until she met Carter. Daphne had been feeling tired lately and was sure she was pregnant. Carter did his best to make Daphne feel better by envisioning a life with their future child.
