Here is your The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Wednesday, April 8, 2026, when Sheila begged Deacon to see the light.
What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

At the cliff house, Ridge, Finn, and Steffy frantically called family to ask them to be cautious. When Taylor walked in, Ridge spoke first. "Steffy told me what happened. That Sheila almost caught you and Deacon," he said. "She did. Sheila knows," Taylor stated, matter-of-factly.
Taylor explained what happened in her office (minus the pizza cutter incident), but assured her family that she was okay. "But I'm worried about Deacon," she added. Finn thought the fact that Sheila didn't hurt Taylor was a good sign. Taylor decided to burst his bubble and finally tell them about the pizza cutter.
"Why didn't you lie to her like a normal person?" Ridge asked. "I thought about it, but she could see right through me," Taylor answered. She also accused Sheila of feeling joy in scaring her. Steffy and Ridge worried that she'd lose total control soon. "Dad's right. We have to worry that the old Sheila's back," Steffy said.
Taylor wanted to go see if Deacon was all right, but the trio before her stopped her immediately. "Mom, you're putting everyone at risk here," Steffy said in a panic.

A heartbroken Sheila continued to talk about what she learned as Deacon silently listened. She truly believed Taylor was helping fix her marriage, but instead, Taylor was just having an affair with Sheila's husband.
"I never meant for this to happen. I've fallen in love with Taylor," Deacon confessed. "What about me? You don't love me anymore?" Sheila asked in a broken voice. All Deacon could care about was Taylor, as he begged his wife to tell him that his mistress was okay.
"Why wouldn't she be?" Sheila asked. Deacon pointed out that she had been with Taylor. "I talked to her. And it was more than she deserved," Sheila correctly replied. Sheila could tell that Deacon had been worried about Taylor more than her. "You always told me that I wasn't a monster and that's what you see," she added.
Deacon pointed out that Sheila was standing there in a nurse's uniform. "And you're standing there telling me that you're in love with somebody else," Sheila cried. Deacon explained that he really did seek therapy from Taylor to fix his marriage, but it turned into something else.
"This isn't something I planned. It's not something I saw coming. We were hurting and we both felt invisible," Deacon said. Sheila could not believe her ears, considering how devoted she had been to her husband and how much she wanted to make amends with him. "I have always seen you. I saw what nobody else would or could," Sheila said.
Sheila said what Deacon didn't want to hear. "She doesn't love you. She loves what you've become. A business owner. Someone who is admired and respected...I loved you when you were nothing. When Ridge and Bill kept knocking you down and Brooke thought you were a joke, I was the one who believed in you," Sheila asserted.
All Deacon could say was that he was sorry, so Sheila asked if this was what Deacon really wanted. "Do you love Taylor so much that you're willing to give up everything for her?" Deacon asked if Sheila was threatening him, but she had no idea why he would think that. After all, she loved him.
Deacon then did what many men who cheat do. He deflected and blamed Sheila for his inability to control himself. "This was caused by your lies," he said. Sheila did what every wife in that position wants to do. She defended herself. "You don't get to yell at me. I told you how deeply sorry I was. I'm your wife, Deacon, and we took vows for better or for worse...I know I hurt you, but you love me. I know you do."
She wondered how he could love her one day and then walk away the next. Deacon claimed it had been building for a long time. "Maybe for you, but not for me, because I have felt close every day that I have been with you," Sheila said. "I have cherished every chapter of this part of my life with you. I can understand why Taylor fell for you, but you're mine. Please, just tell me it isn't over."
Sheila realized that Taylor could give Deacon the legitimacy he wanted with Hope and Deke. After all, her family accepted Taylor. "You want to be with your family, but no, you're stuck here with me, but I thought I was your family. We both had faith that one day everyone would come to accept us," Sheila said.
Deacon stressed that the faith was built on trust, but Sheila had betrayed him with Luna. Sheila admitted they both hurt each other, but felt they could come back from this. Deacon told Sheila everything had changed, but Sheila didn't believe that. "You're with me because you love me," she said. "Please, tell me our marriage is not over."

In Brooke's living room, Hope lamented to Deke that she had made a mistake trying to push Deacon and Taylor together. "The threat of Sheila is becoming more and more real," Deke agreed. Hope had thought that Deacon would tell Sheila before he had an affair with Taylor, which would have made things easier and safer, at least in Hope's eyes.
Hope declared that she refused to live in fear of Sheila, but then lived in fear of her anyway. "If Sheila finds out, no one is safe," Hope said. She called Deacon and left a message. Deke was concerned that Deacon hadn't returned any of his texts. They hoped Deacon had told Sheila by now, but worried about what she would do.
