On the January 27, 2026, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Carter and Daphne discussed their relationship path, and Electra spiraled as Will and Dylan were forced to spend time together.
What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

Steffy was pleased with the start of the trunk show and how well Forrester was doing at the event. Electra felt bad that Ivy was sick, which forced her to miss out on the trip's success. She told Steffy how in awe she was of Steffy working the room. However, the excitement didn't last long, as Finn called.
Steffy put Finn on speaker phone, and he explained that he had been called into an emergency surgery. However, he dropped off Hayes with Will and Dylan, so he believed everything was fine. Electra's smile quickly faded once she realized Will and Dylan were spending time together.
Steffy offered to return home, but Finn was certain that Dylan and Will had things covered. The more he spoke, the more tension and anxiety took hold of Electra. Her greatest fears had come to life. All of the insecurity and paranoia that could've been shoved to the wayside was now forced to the forefront of Electra's brain. Her best friend and her boyfriend were far too close for comfort.
Steffy and Electra met with wealthy clients, who were impressed by how well prepared the Forresters were. The female client (played by the legendary Morgan Fairchild) loved the amethyst piece Electra presented to her.
After the clients departed, Steffy and Electra toasted to the clients, but Steffy received an alert that Finn was trapped at the hospital. Electra knew that Hayes would be fine in Will and Dylan's care. Steffy picked up on something bothering Electra, and Electra revealed that she asked Dylan to avoid the main house.
Although the chicken dinner wasn't anything, and even though it wasn't Dylan's idea, Electra didn't like the idea of Will and Dylan spending alone time together. Steffy validated Electra's feelings, but it worried her that Finn's emergency forced the two to spend time together.

At the beach house, Will and Dylan did arts and crafts with Hayes. Dylan tried to excuse herself to respect Electra's wishes, but Will insisted that she stay. He said it was his home, so he got the final say on whose company he kept.
Electra called Will, and he told her that there was a surprise guest at the house. She knew that Hayes was there, so Will put her on speaker so Hayes could talk to his mother. Electra told Will that it was sweet how she stepped up to help Steffy and Finn.
Dylan took the phone and apologized profusely for violating her order to avoid the main house. Electra insisted that everything was fine, and she asked Dylan to put Will back on the phone. Their conversation didn't last long because Will needed to return to Hayes.
Hayes opened up to Will about how much he loved Ms. Dylan and wished he had more time to spend with her. Unfortunately, their time together was cut short after Luna turned his classroom into a crime scene. Dylan's life had never been the same after she was tied up in the closet while gunshots rang out in the living room.
Will asked Dylan how she came to be so good with kids. Besides having a lot of cousins growing up, she loved the idea of viewing life through the eyes of innocence. Dylan opened up about the cost of tuition and housing in Los Angeles, but despite her struggles, she didn't want to tell her mother. Her mother wanted this California dream for her, and Dylan feared spoiling it.

In the Forrester showroom, Carter and Daphne basked in the glow of their new engagement. Carter was pleased that Daphne wore his ring, and she finally agreed to commit her life to him. Daphne couldn't believe she'd almost taken off for Paris and given up a chance to be with Carter.
Daphne was impressed with how confident Carter was about their future. She reminded Carter that he wasn't the first man to propose to her. However, this would be the first time that she accepted. Daphne worried that immersing herself in her feelings for Carter would somehow derail her professional success.
Carter and Daphne realized that they wanted the same thing in life. Their desire to start a family superseded all of the potential what-ifs about how things could go wrong, and now they were one step closer to creating that family.
It remained to be seen whether or not Carter's current engagement would translate to an actual marriage, or if Daphne would just be the latest name on Carter's endless list of engagements.
