The Bold and the Beautiful Recap July 30: Electra Loses Her Mind, Slaps Dylan

Here's your recap for The Bold and the Beautiful episode airing Thursday, July 30, 2026, as Electra confronted Dylan over Will, and Sheila begged Steffy to be a part of Finn and Hayes' lives.

Electra Takes Action

Dylan restated that she was in love with Will. She couldn't believe that Electra just called her a bitch. Dylan said that she held out on acting on her feelings for Will until Electra walked out on him -- more than once!

Dylan said she was an artist, and she wanted to express her feelings. Electra said she would never give Dylan the green light to pursue Will. Electra ordered Dylan to stay out of Will's life, his house, and bed. Off Dylan's reaction, Electra asked if Dylan what she had done with Will.

Dylan pointed out that Will kept hearing in his head that it was over with him and Electra. Dylan said that she and Will slept together (but didn't have sex). Electra didn't care that it was on the couch. Dylan shared that they just made out. Electra said that Dylan moved to Los Angeles and got a job teaching the children of wealthy people so that she could get a piece of the good life.

Dylan suggested that everyone move on; Electra pointed out that she and Will had just moved on two seconds ago! She accused Dylan of tricking Will. Dylan said that she loved Will. "I've been in love with Will for a long time," Dylan stated. She said that she bottled her feelings up (because of Electra). Dylan said that she couldn't cater to Electra's needs. Electra slapped Dylan. Then, she called her her best friend, and then Electra walked out of the office.

At the beach house, Will scoffed at Deke's visit. The designer said that Bill wanted his son to look over some work documents, but Will saw through that. He knew that Bill sent Deke over to check on Will.

Will offered Deke a beer or even whiskey. Deke said he cared about Will. Will claimed that he was just having a few beers. Deke said that Will was spiraling. Will threw a beer can. Deke asked Will to let him in. Will broke down and admitted that he missed Electra, and he felt his life was falling apart.

Deke said that breakups can be brutal. He said that he and Dylan had spoken a lot. Deke was aware that both Dylan and Electra had things for him. Will said that the Forresters think that the Spencers are the owners of a classless tabloid magazine. He told Deke that if he was going to play therapist, then Will wanted out. He walked away.

Sheila Support Group

At the Cliff House, Taylor told Finn that she was worried about Steffy. Taylor was still in disbelief that Sheila had given Deacon a divorce. Finn noted that perhaps Sheila had changed. Taylor wondered if Steffy knew that. Finn wondered if Taylor felt the same way that he did -- that Sheila had changed. Taylor said that she couldn't help but be cautious about Sheila being around Steffy. Finn said there was no reason that Steffy should worry about Sheila.

At Finn's office, Sheila was literally on her knees, begging to have a place in Finn's life. Sheila pointed out to Steffy that she didn't go after her mother, Taylor, after she found out that they were in love. Instead, she walked away. She did what was right. Sheila said that Steffy has the chance to do the same thing, the right thing.

Steffy said, for her, the right thing is to protect her kids. Sheila reiterated that she had lost everything. She said that she had built her life around Deacon, but Taylor took that from him.

Sheila theorized that Steffy wouldn't like it if Hayes' future wife cut her out of her son's life. Sheila flashed back to Finn saying that he had love for his mother. Sheila said that it was hurting Finn and Hayes because she's not a part of their lives. Sheila begged to be the mother and grandmother that she's supposed to be.

Steffy told Sheila that she didn't agree with what her mother had done. She didn't like him being with Deacon. Sheila hoped that could be a bridge they could build upon. Steffy said that Sheila has hurt too many people in the past.

Steffy referred to having lost her mother for years (she was thought dead after Sheila shot her) and Finn (who was thought dead for months after Sheila shot him). Steffy stated that she'd never accept Sheila, and she'd never have a place in Finn's life.

Steffy arrived home and saw Finn, now alone. She told him that she'd had a run-in with Sheila. Steffy asked Finn to understand that Sheila could not be a part of their lives.

Meanwhile, Dylan examined a mark on her face in the mirror. She called Will. Just then, Electra showed up at the beach house. She asked Will how he could have done what he did.
