The Bold and the Beautiful Recap July 6: Will Beats Down RJ as Electra Ends Their Relationship

The Bold and the Beautiful's July 6 episode saw tensions finally boil over. While Liam rushed to Hope's aid after her frightening collapse, Will's feud with RJ turned physical, leading to a shocking confrontation that ultimately cost him the person he loved most.

Forrester Fears the Fallout

At Forrester, Steffy was furious about how Hope betrayed the company. RJ stood there while Ridge and Steffy blasted his other sister and remained silent. However, he was far more focused on his obsession with finding a way to rid Will of Electra.

Steffy was adamant that the company was stuck in full crisis mode because of Hope's sudden defection. RJ assured Ridge that Electra had zero knowledge of anything Logan was planning. She was just as blindsided as everyone else, much to the detriment of her relationship.

After RJ took off to check on Electra, Steffy felt horrible that Electra's jewelry line was in jeopardy because of Hope jumping ship. Hope was the devil incarnate to her, and there was no getting around it. Steffy was out for revenge at this point, and she wanted to destroy Hope and Logan with everything that she had.

Electra Makes Her Choice

Will refused to let Electra leave the beach house in her current state. She believed that he took her love for granted. It seemed as if Electra was always putting some sort of condition on their love, while Will went out of his way to make things right.

Electra brought up that Will didn't matter to her and that he would always do whatever suited him best in the moment before begging for forgiveness at a later date. There is no discernible reason that Will would ever betray his mother's company to appease his girlfriend's feelings. She was asking far too much of him yet again.

Will continued to use kissing as a means to keep Electra at the beach house, and for a moment, it seemed to be working. Electra admitted that she loved Will despite him keeping yet another secret from her. However, she wished that she came before his mother and especially his father.

Electra was committed to blaming Will for everything that had happened to her line. Somehow, Hope joining Logan had become the Electra Show and another opportunity for her to cast herself as the victim. Will professed his love for her, but love wasn't enough. He tried to explain to her that they worked for opposing companies, so it was natural that they'd have to keep certain company secrets.

Electra could only focus on the scandal caused by Hope's defection to Logan. She lumped Will in with everyone else who contributed to the demise of her line, even if it was unfair. Blinded by hurt, she was looking for someone to lash out at, and Will was the perfect target.

Electra claimed to understand the concept of trade secrets, but it certainly didn't sound that way when she lost her mind on him. She begged him for honesty, but he was doing the best that he could. Electra wanted to leave, and as Will tried to get through to her and prevent her from walking out, RJ showed up at the door and demanded that he let her go.

Liam Comes to Hope's Rescue

Liam found Hope unconscious on the showroom floor and immediately panicked about his wife's well-being. After initially struggling, Liam managed to wake Hope up, and he had no idea what led to her collapse. However, Hope immediately burst into tears over breaking her mother's heart. She was convinced that Brooke would never forgive her for this monumental betrayal.

Hope walked Liam through the fight with her mother, and she believed that she collapsed following what felt like a panic attack. Liam knew from prior experience that she could've suffered a head injury, and he begged her to at least get checked out.

Hope should've been riding high and celebrating the biggest professional win of her life. Instead, she was subjected to Brooke belittling her and diminishing everything she accomplished on the Logan stage. Hope knew she needed to live with the choice she made, and eventually Brooke would be forced to accept it as well.

Hope continued blaming herself for Brooke's fragile feelings, and Liam pleaded with her to understand that she made the best choice for herself. She couldn't spend the rest of her life living on Brooke's terms. He pointed out that her mother would've undermined her decision at every turn, so there was no way to avoid this outcome.

Will screamed at RJ to get off his property, but he refused. In fact, he let himself in and got directly in his cousin's face. Will grew more emotional, and all it took was a dig about Bill being a lowlife for him to completely lose it. This time, instead of one singular sucker punch, Will repeatedly drove his fist into RJ's face.

Electra took RJ's side in the altercation, and regardless of her feelings for Will, she refused to engage with him any longer. Will ran after the pair, but Electra was done. She ripped off her necklace and threw it at Will. Their relationship was finally over.
