Here's your recap for The Bold and the Beautiful episode that aired on Thursday, July 9, 2026, as Sheila shocked Deacon and surprised Finn, and Ridge and Bill had words.
BOLD Moves, Beautifully played

At Deacon's, Deacon begged Sheila to sign the divorce papers. Sheila recalled many wonderful memories with Deacon at the place that was once theirs. Sheila added that she had good memories that would carry her through, memories of Deacon holding her, kissing her, and of them sharing jokes. Deacon apologized, saying that he never expected to fall for Taylor.
Sheila asked Deacon if Taylor was living there. Deacon said that he wanted both Sheila and himself to be free so they could move on to their respective futures. Sheila lamented that Deacon thought she could move on from her best relationship. "You have no idea how hard this is for me," Sheila said.
Then, she signed the papers, which shocked Deacon. "I don't want to be with someone that doesn't love me," Sheila stated. The naughty nurse said that she would never forget her memories with Deacon. He said he wouldn't forget either. Sheila thanked Deacon for helping her change, a woman who was capable of being loved. She may not be getting that love from Deacon, but she felt that she was capable of being loved.
Sheila told Deacon that she'd always treasure what they had. Deacon embraced Sheila. Then, she left.
Meanwhile, at Forrester Creations, Steffy was concerned that Sheila was back. Taylor informed Steffy and Finn that Sheila would survive the divorce papers if she were to receive a place in the lives of her family. Steffy affirmed that Sheila will never be welcomed within her family.
Steffy doubted Sheila would ever change, especially as she claimed to have changed before she put bullets in her and also in Finn. The doctor left to return to work at the hospital. Steffy asked Taylor what her next move would be. Steffy pointed out to her mother that Sheila wasn't going to just walk away.
Taylor received a phone call from Deacon. He told her that Sheila signed the divorce papers. Taylor let Steffy know.
Riding High

Wyatt marveled that Will punched RJ again. Bill said he didn't want it to sound like he condoned violence, but he added that the mini-dressmaker had it coming. Bill reminded Wyatt that there was already tension between Will and RJ over Electra, and that Will simply stood his ground by pummeling RJ.
Bill celebrated that Logan was thriving. Wyatt was happy, but he didn't want his dad to get too far ahead. Wyatt pointed out that Forrester Creations has been huge for years and years. He said they're not on the same par with the House of Forrester. Bill said that it was only a matter of time before that changed. Bill longed for the day Ridge would realize that things had changed. Bill said that Katie is the reason for Logan's success.
Over at Brooke and Ridge's house, Ridge informed Eric and RJ that Will wasn't going to get away with punching his son again. Eric commented that he thought Will was once a good guy. RJ said he was okay and confirmed that Finn had checked him out.
Ridge told RJ that Brooke was having a spa day. Eric shared that there was a big strain on his marriage as Donna kept it a secret that Hope had gone to Logan Designs.
Ridge relieved Eric of "babysitting duties," saying he could leave RJ alone as he headed out. Eric wondered if he even needed to ask where Ridge was going (to Spencer -- where else?).
At Spencer, Alison tried to stop Ridge from entering Bill's office. Bill told Alison it was okay. Ridge blasted Bill for Will hitting RJ and for the war between Forrester Creations and Logan Designs. Bill was bemused by Ridge's posturing.
Doctor's Visit

At the hospital, Finn was working in his office when Sheila surprised him with a visit. Finn told his mom he knew about Sheila's deal to have a place in Finn's and Hayes's lives in exchange for the divorce, but Steffy would never allow it. Sheila shared with Finn that she signed the papers anyway. Finn said he could see that Sheila was heartbroken. Sheila asked Finn if he could make her a part of his family. "I'm begging you, son," Sheila said.
