A fragile truce on The Bold and the Beautiful

Katie was still somewhat shellshocked following Brooke slapping her across the face. She asked Brooke to consider the idea of supporting each other instead of putting their hands on each other. Katie admitted that saying the horrible comments about Brooke as a mother probably didn't need to happen either.

Katie believed that she was going to succeed at Logan, and she didn't need anyone else to think that. All that mattered was her confidence in herself, and she was ready to silence any doubters. Brooke felt like the entire fashion house was Katie's way of lashing out against her out of jealousy.

The suggestion that she was jealous of Brooke made Katie laugh out loud. Brooke twisted the knife even further and accused Katie of resenting how pretty and popular she was throughout their lives, while Katie was stuck in her shell at home. Brooke sounded more like a mean girl in high school and was grasping at straws for ways to insult Katie.

Katie couldn't fathom that Brooke actually believed any of her own comments. Sure, she loved to read and spend time at home, but that didn't mean she was a lonely, insecure woman. She was proud of everything Brooke had achieved at Forrester Creations. However, that didn't translate into jealousy or being desperate for everything that her big sister had.

Katie started taunting Brooke about the upcoming collection for Logan. Brooke had no idea that her own daughter would be the face of the next collection. She wasn't convinced that Logan would thrive without the underlying factor of Eric and his designs. However, Katie was ready to stick it to her sister with her next launch.

The sisters put everything on the table about their past and how they'd overcome their father not being around and the deaths of their mother and brother. Katie wanted to repair things with Brooke, but she had no idea where to begin. To her credit, Brooke apologized for laying hands on Katie, acknowledging that it was the wrong move to make.

Brooke said she wanted Katie to build her company and be as successful as she wanted, but she wanted her family left out of it. Katie hinted that Brooke could hire Forresters and Katie could hire any Spencers that she wanted. She had no idea that her sister was planning on hiring Hope Logan Spencer. They even shook on it, making the eventual reveal even more painful.

Brooke was quite clear on the wording. Katie could hire as many Spencers as she wanted, and she got her big sister's blessing. Brooke wasn't sharp enough to put the pieces together yet, but technically Hope isn't a Forrester, so Katie is simply honoring their agreement.

Wyatt's big decision

Wyatt revealed that the diamond that he claimed was the Hope for the Future diamond was actually a copy, which sent Liam into a frenzy. He was on a quest to find the real one, but he needed more time. It was convincing enough to fool Liam, but would that work for the general public?

Wyatt and Liam recounted their history with the diamond and Hope, but Liam wasn't ready to accept that the real diamond was actually cursed. This would be the thing to jump-start Logan into a major player in the fashion industry. They were already doing incredible with Eric's designs, so the HFTF diamond could take that to even bigger heights.

Liam started to fish around and float the idea of Wyatt joining Logan in an official capacity. Wyatt didn't think that he had a genuine place at the company beyond the diamond hunt. Liam reminded his brother that there was always a space for Wyatt at the company, and their father had made genuine strides to change.

Liam worked overtime to sell Wyatt on returning to the company. This would be the first time that all three of the Spencer sons would be under the same corporate umbrella, and together they could become unstoppable. Wyatt wasn't sure where he'd even fit in at Logan, and Liam had the perfect solution. Logan needed a jewelry line, and Wyatt had the exact background they needed to make it happen.

Liam pleaded with Wyatt to return to the family company because it wasn't the same without him. Wyatt had gone through a massive breakup without the support of his family, and he needed them. For the first time in years, the Spencer clan was finally coming together, and Wyatt was the final piece of the puzzle.

Stronger than ever

Will and Electra went for a night swim, continuing to bask in their reconnected love. Will had no plans to make things right with RJ, and he showed zero remorse for his actions. He felt justified in sucker-punching his cousin, and nothing was going to change that.

Will wanted to focus on his future with Electra and not spend any additional time focused on the past. Electra had not only patched things up with Will, but she and Dylan were closer than ever. All it took was Dylan getting a job at Forrester to start to push Will and Electra back to each other.

Will was adamant that he would never let Electra down again. After all of the obstacles they'd overcome, he refused to let anything else drive a wedge between them.
