Here's your The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Friday, March 13, 2026, when Katie and Bill forge ahead with their plans to use Katie's designs.
What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful
In Katie's office, Hope and Liam discussed the Logan debut. Liam was nervous because it was such a big day. When Hope realized that Bill and Katie were going to use Eric's designs, she nearly lost her mind. Liam explained that Eric was legally able to break his contract, but he could not take his designs with him.
Liam insisted this was never about Bill and Katie trying to hurt Eric. Hope assured Liam that she wasn't mad at him, but not trying to hurt Eric didn't make what Bill and Katie were doing right. "Liam, there's still time. Bill and Katie would listen to you. Don't let them use his designs," Hope begged.
When Bill texted Liam to meet him in the showroom, Hope pleaded with her husband some more to talk to Bill. "Think about Eric. Think about how this is going to make him feel," she said. Liam left the office without agreeing to what Hope wanted.
In the Logan showroom (which coincidentally was a carbon copy of the Forrester Creations showroom, go figure), Bill and Katie marveled at how well things had come together for their press conference. Katie was still smarting about what happened the night before with Brooke, but she was ready to forge on with the show.
In Eric's office, Brooke and Ridge were up in arms over the idea of Logan using Eric's designs. Ridge wanted to do PR damage control, but Brooke pointed out that the fashion press was already praising Logan. When Eric arrived, he was stunned to hear that Bill and Katie were ready to use his designs.
"What have I done?!" Eric exclaimed. "You were trying to help my sister and she and Bill took advantage of your kindness," Brooke replied. Eric admitted that part of it was his ego and his pride that led to his desire to keep working. Eric was more upset that he didn't think his designs were ready yet. He feared his reputation would be ruined.
"If I hadn't gone over to Logan, none of this would be happening," Eric lamented. Brooke and Ridge promised Eric they would try to stop the press conference, so she called Katie.
Katie still felt bad about using Eric's designs and wondered if that meant she wasn't doing this on her own. Bill assured her that they were Logan's designs, so they were hers. "You cannot let Brooke get in your head, Katie," Bill said. Katie was still worried about what they would do now that Eric wasn't designing for her anymore.
Katie also worried that Eric would be as furious at her as Brooke was. "Are you sure we should go through with this?" Bill was absolutely sure. Katie still felt like a poseur using Eric's designs. Soon, Katie received a call from Brooke, who did as she promised and tried to reason with her sister.
Both women kept their phones on speaker so the men could hear and have their say. Eric told Bill and Katie that they could not show those designs. Bill didn't care what Eric had to say and hung right up. Brooke and Ridge were outraged, with Brooke whining that Katie was stealing her name and Eric's designs. "It's appalling," Brooke proclaimed.
The threesome then left FC to stop Logan's debut, but the press conference was well underway already. When Liam arrived in the showroom, he was surprised and pleased to see the happy crowd. Dottie Bright and her assistant, Joseph, were even there to check out fashion that wasn't Forrester. Liam found Katie and Bill backstage, but didn't try to talk them out of their plans for Eric's designs.
The press conference and mini-fashion show began, with Bill announcing a new name in L.A. fashion: "Logan, by Katie Logan." Katie took to the stage and welcomed the press. She also announced that her designer was "The one and only Eric Forrester."
The press could barely believe it, so Bill told them that Eric had come to them. "Eric Forrester was forced into retirement by his son, Ridge. He was kicked to the curb," Bill explained. "And I was more than excited to work with him. No one is more respected in the fashion industry," Katie said.
She then introduced a preview of Logan's debut line, so the models took to the runway. Eric, Brooke, and Ridge appeared in the middle of the show and watched from the back. Liam spotted them and let Katie and Bill know that the Forresters were there. The press also noticed and descended on Eric.

Bill walked up to the press gaggle as Brooke approached Katie and began chastising her again. "You are so heartless and so selfish," she accused. "I asked you to stop and you didn't. Now, you're going to regret it because this is war!"
