At Brooke's house, Hope and Deke continued to discuss the Deacon and Taylor situation. Deke noted how it was strange for them to both hope their dad was committing adultery. "We've been pushing Dad to figure this all out. I think a secret night alone to be with Taylor is what he really needs," Deke said.

They both noted how they felt Taylor was better suited for Deacon than Sheila. "If Dad and Taylor actually are together right now, let's let them have this," Deke suggested. Hope turned the subject back to business and went through Deke's designs one more time.

She praised the designs and hoped that Katie would reach out to her brother once the whole Eric situation had blown over. Deke liked Hope's positivity, so she said she would send some positive thoughts toward Deacon. "Hopefully, he is having the time of his life," Hope said.

Deacon and Taylor continued to enjoy their night in bed while Sheila crept up the stairs with a dinner knife. When she realized the door was locked, she kicked it in and saw Taylor in bed all by herself. When Taylor saw the knife, she begged Sheila not to kill her while Deacon watched from outside after climbing out the window. He freaked out when he realized he had left his shirt in Taylor's bedroom.

Upstairs, Sheila put the knife down and asked if someone had taken advantage of Taylor. She looked around and asked, "Where is he, Taylor?" Taylor insisted she was alone and fine. Sheila was confused. "I heard noises. I heard groaning. I thought someone was attacking you," Sheila said.

Taylor kept insisting she was fine and that Sheila had to leave. When Sheila looked around and saw the candles, it hit her that something else might have been going on. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions. I didn't expect...all this...I get it, you're home, you had the whole house to yourself, you needed a little me time," Sheila deduced. "I'm married. That's ok. I still need a little me time," Sheila admitted.

Sheila was impressed that Taylor set herself up for some me time with candles, music, and the ocean breeze. She even offered to lend Taylor some audiobooks to add to the mood. "It's ok. This is nothing to be ashamed of," Sheila added. "You can stop. You caught me. From one woman to another, you're right. That's what I was doing," Taylor lied.

She asked Sheila why she was even there, so Sheila explained that she brought Taylor flowers as a thank you for fixing her marriage. Tyalor got out of bed and put on her robe, telling Sheila that the whole incident was highly inappropriate. Sheila defended herself. She thought Taylor was being assaulted and wasn't going to just leave her.

They walked downstairs as Taylor continued to chastise Sheila for even being in the house when Steffy wasn't there. "If my daughter were here, she would have called the police," Taylor pointed out, telling Sheila she needed to leave. When Sheila spotted the pizza box, she seemed to suspect something. She told Taylor she would go and walked out the door.

Meanwhile, Deacon returned to his apartment shirtless and called Hope and once again begged Hope to cover for him. Taylor soon called, much to Deacon's relief. Taylor told him what happened with Sheila. Deacon was just glad that Taylor was all right. "I was so worried about you. Thank God you're ok," he said.

Taylor admitted that her mental state had taken a hit. "I thought she was going to kill me. I thought she was going to kill us," Taylor said. They once again declared their love for each other and hung up.

Downstairs, Sheila arrived back at Il Giardino and asked a server if he had seen Decon. He had not, but Sheila tried to brush her suspicions away. She finally walked upstairs to find Deacon pretending to be asleep on the couch.
