The Bold and the Beautiful Recap, March 31: Steffy has a conniption about Taylor's big night

Here is your The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Tuesday, March 31, 2026, when Steffy nearly lost her mind when she learned about Taylor's "alone time."

Taylor sat in Steffy's living room, sipping coffee as she flashed back to Sheila being in her bedroom with a butcher knife. Steffy disrupted her thoughts to tell her how wonderful beach camping was. Steffy asked how Taylor's night went, so Taylor decided to tell her. "I did something last night. Something you're not going to like," Taylor said.

"I had someone over. It was a man," Taylor said. Steffy didn't see a problem with that as long as it wasn't Deacon. Taylor gave Steffy a look to tell her that it was indeed Deacon who paid a visit. Steffy immediately began to freak out. Taylor admitted to using poor judgment, which Steffy thought was an understatement.

"Don't you realize how delusional this is? We are dealing with Sheila," Steffy cried. "How many times do I have to go over this with you?" Taylor defended herself, telling Steffy that she didn't choose to fall for Deacon. It just happened.

"I've been trying to put him out of my mind, but I think about him all the time. I love him," Taylor said. That didn't stop Steffy from losing it some more, so Taylor decided to make things worse and tell her daughter about Sheila's arrival on the scene.

Taylor told the whole story, including thinking Taylor was being attacked and trying to save her. That's when we learned that Deacon and Taylor did not have sex "completely." Steffy looked like she was about to have a coronary as she shouted at her mother. "I knew this was going to happen," she yelled (in all caps).

Taylor insisted that Sheila didn't know about her and Deacon, but Steffy wasn't so sure. She forbade Taylor from ever talking to Deacon again, but Taylor insisted she had to know if Deacon was okay.

"After everything with your father, I have finally found someone who sees me, who chooses me," Taylor said. Steffy had a logical comeback: "He married a psychopath, Mom." Steffy insisted that they would learn if Sheila suspected anything, "and then you will never have contact with Deacon again."

A nervous Hope called her dad and left a message for him to call her back. Soon, Deke arrived at Hope's behest. "I'm worried about Dad and Taylor," Hope said. She told him about the frightened phone call from Deacon the night before. "When have you ever known Dad to sound scared?" Hope asked.

Hope said that she heard panic in Deacon's voice. "So, you think that Sheila finally found out about Dad and Taylor and they're in danger?" Deke wondered.

Deke was sure that if Sheila had found out, they would have already heard about it, but Hope disagreed. "Sheila is good at covering her tracks," Hope said. She wanted them to visit Deacon right away, but Deke convinced Hope to wait.

Sheila stood over a sleeping Deacon with two cups of coffee. She said "Good morning," but her tone was not pleasant. Deacon rolled over on the couch and sat up. Sheila handed him his coffee and told him he was sound asleep when she came home.

Deacon claimed he was just exhausted when he came home. "I'm very anxious to hear about your evening, one that you spent with a very special somebody," Sheila said. Just then, Deacon got Hope's message but chose to ignore it for now. Sheila had a question: "Did you tell her about us? How good things are between us?"

"It came up," Deacon said, before asking his wife how her night went. Sheila told him. "I actually did something kinda crazy," she said. Sheila explained how Li had told her that Finn and Steffy had taken the kids camping, so Sheila decided to drop by and give Taylor flowers as a token of her appreciation.

Sheila told her whole tale, including believing that a naked Taylor was "in bed enjoying a little private time." Sheila felt bad that she had gone over and interrupted Taylor's night. "I consider Taylor a very close friend. Why was she so afraid of me?" Sheila wondered.

She noted how Deacon appeared to care about Taylor, but then seemed to brush the whole evening off and went downstairs to work. When she arrived behind the bar, Sheila tried to do some paperwork, but kept thinking about the night before, especially spotting the pizza box.

Back upstairs, Deacon immediately called Taylor and told her that Sheila wasn't onto them. However, they were determined to keep seeing each other behind Sheila's back.
