The Bold and the Beautiful Recap, May 1: A Luna-like figure appears before Dylan

On The Bold and the Beautiful, Friday May 1, Dylan got the shock of her life, Hope begged Steffy for answers, and Liam dropped cryptic hints to Finn about Hope's future.

When Steffy walked into Eric's office and found Hope working, she tried to make a swift exit. Hope wanted her to stay so that they could talk about Hope For The Future. Hope was sick of doing inventory for other lines when she had her own. She wanted a firm relaunch date for Hope For The Future, but Steffy couldn't provide one.

Hope explained that she was trying to manage expectations and plan for her own future. Vague and deflective answers from Steffy didn't help. Hope wondered if there was something Steffy was not telling her. Steffy insisted this was nothing personal, but the line had underperformed in the past. Hope asked the ultimate question. How could Steffy expect success when she constantly undermined Hope?

Steffy swore that was not what she was doing, but Hope wanted answers. She went so far as to remind Steffy that they used to play together in the FC offices when they were kids. Hope just wanted to know if she should work somewhere else or not. Steffy asked where Hope would go, but didn't give her a chance to answer.

She only told Hope that she was overreacting, but Hope begged to differ. Hope felt underappreciated and just wanted answers. Steffy stressed that Hope still had a line. It was just being postponed and Hope needed to stop with the theatrics, according to Steffy. All Hope could do was once again ask if she should look for another fashion house.

Liam has big plans

Finn returned home with Liam, who was dropping off Kelly's dance bag. Liam decided to take the opportunity to talk to Finn about Steffy's treatment of Hope at work. Finn didn't know why Liam was talking to him about this when it was up to Steffy. Liam cryptically implied that Steffy might not be Hope's boss much longer.

Liam stressed that Forrester had to appreciate Hope or someone else would come along and want her and her talent. Finn insisted that Hope was appreciated, but Liam wasn't so sure.

Will welcomed Katie to the beach house as she came bearing groceries. Katie tried to make small talk, but finally admitted she was there to talk about his problems. She worried about how the Forresters were treating him, but also couldn't believe that Ivy did with that letter. Will was just as upset with Electra, but he also thought Ivy had hurt Dylan.

Katie wanted Dylan to be homeless

Katie was surprised to hear that Will was defending Dylan. Katie was glad that Dylan had finally done "the right thing" and moved out. Dylan still wouldn't allow Katie to trash talk Dylan. He said that things were complicated, so Katie wanted to know if Will still really wanted Electra.

Will admitted that his time with Dylan had an effect on him. He was able to open up to Dylan and talk about things he couldn't discuss with Electra. After Katie left, Will flashed back to his time with Dylan.

Dylan's shock and horror

Back at FC, Dylan and Electra ran into one another in a dressing room. Electra remained her same snooty self as Dylan tried to make amends. That didn't stop Electra from telling Dylan she had to be "cautious" around her. Electra felt hurt and betrayed by too many people, including Dylan.

Electra then declared she was moving on, as Dylan prattled on about how happy she was to have a job. She promised to not interfere with Electra's life. As she tried to explain to Electra that she didn't want to live out of her car, all Electra could do was think of herself.

And all Dylan could do was think about how she had hurt poor, put upon Electra. Electra's friendship was much more important to Dylan than having a roof over her head. Electra remained silent as Dylan detailed what it was like to be homeless. Finally, Electra did something shocking and told Dylan what a strong and brave person she was.

Electra wept through a speech on how much her friendship with Dylan meant to her. She wanted to give Dylan another chance, but she had been hurt and betrayed too many times. Electra then revealed to Dylan that a friend she thought she trusted had created deep fakes of her.

Just as quickly as she was sympathetic to Dylan, she returned to her pity party, wondering why Dylan just couldn't do as she was asked. All Dylan could do was apologize for being homeless and wanting a place to stay. She'd be there for Electra and begged for her friendship. Electra was generous enough to say she would think about it.

Once Dylan was alone again, someone appeared before her. From the back, that someone looked like Luna. All Dylan could do was say, "It's you" and scream.
