The Bold and the Beautiful Recap, May 15: Ridge tells Brooke she's NOT going to be CEO

On the Friday, May 15, 2026, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Brooke couldn't believe that Ridge wouldn't destroy his own child for her.

An excited Brooke tried to hide how giddy she was when Ridge told her that he had asked Steffy to step down. She understood how hard it had to have been for Ridge to do that to his daughter. Ridge didn't want to ever have to have that talk with Steffy, so Brooke reminded him how much she deserved the position.

When Ridge reminded Brooke that she was valued, Brooke could see where this was going. Steffy was refusing to step down and Ridge wasn't going to fire his own daughter. Brooke still wouldn't give up and figured Ridge would make things right. Finally, Brooke revealed the truth, which Steffy already knew. This was about Hope's line and nothing else.

However, Brooke was still convinced that Steffy would be going whether she liked it or not. Ridge finally told her that wasn't going to happen. Brooke had to accept that Ridge wasn't going to hurt his daughter just for her. All Brooke could ask was, "What about me?"

Ridge assured Brooke that she had a spot at Forrester, but Brooke pointed out that Katie had charted a course for her own destiny. (There's that word again.) Ridge still insisted that he wasn't going to take the co-CEO position away from Steffy. Ridge promised Brooke that she could have anything she wanted, but she couldn't have that.

Hope's false hope

In the Logan offices, Hope told Liam that she was sure that Ridge could see that Steffy shouldn't be Brooke's boss. She and her mother deserved better in Hope's arms. She just wanted Hope for the Future to have a fighting chance, which couldn't happen with Steffy in charge.

Liam asked Hope to promise she'd jump ship if Brooke didn't become co-CEO. He did his best to convince Hope that she'd be able to do anything she wanted if she came to Logan. Hope was still clinging to the idea that Brooke would be in charge at FC. She didn't even have designers to take with her. She knew Thomas would never leave and didn't expect Zende to either.

When Carter walked into Eric's office, he was surprised to see Zende throwing paper around. Zende was apparently just as frustrated as Hope. He had designed a line and now it was going nowhere. Zende also knew it was all personal. Steffy hated Hope, so this was the way it had to be.

Zende was also sick of designing for couture with RJ lording over him. He knew RJ was family, but Zende knew he earned his design spot. He even went to design school, unlike RJ.

Electra and Dylan make up

In Daphne's office, Electra commented on Dylan being the perfume maiden's new assistant. Dylan once again mentioned the time when they used to be friends, but Electra admitted that she was hesitant to trust anyone as a friend at the moment. Dylan wanted Electra to trust her again, but Electra said she still felt uncomfortable being around her at work.

However, Electra was willing to offer her friendship to Dylan again as a gift if Dylan would meet her conditions. Their friendship had to focus on work and Dylan was not allowed to "cross the line" with anyone at Forrester Creations. Dylan agreed to it all, as Electra's friendship was the best thing in the world.

As Dylan once again tried to explain the whole beach house and Ivy incident to Electra, the young jewelry designer shut her down. She didn't even want to talk about it anymore. So, Dylan brought up the deepfakes, which resulted in Electra going off on Remy. Dylan got an ominous look on her face as soon as she heard that name. When Electra calmed down, she and Dylan finally hugged it out. But during the hug, Dylan spotted Remy by the office door.
