Here is your The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Wednesday, May 27, 2026 featuring Bill's shocking request for Wyatt upon his return.
What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

Will and Electra continued their romantic reunion at the beach house while she remained blissfully unaware that he physically assaulted R.J. Will surprised Electra with a saging ceremony to cleanse the house of the mounds of bad energy.
From the Luna hostage crisis to everything with Dylan and Ivy, this home needed it more than any other. Will and Electra discussed how great it was to work and be together, which made it feel like the inevitable firing for his actions would hurt so much worse. Will asked Electra to move in with him, and even if she finally agrees to do so, how long would it be before she leaves him for R.J. after learning what he'd done?

Steffy and Finn helped an injured R.J. into the house, and he didn't need them hovering over him. Steffy was concerned about her brother, and Finn confirmed that there were bruised ribs. This felt like the end of Will's time at Forrester because there was no chance of Steffy letting this go.
Ridge came downstairs and asked what happened, and he was stunned to learn about the sucker punch. R.J. downplayed the injury, but Ridge wanted answers about what went down. He knew that Electra somehow played a role in the altercation, but how did things escalate from a party at Bikini to physical violence?
Ridge wanted his son to keep his nose out of Will and Electra's business. Technically, if he hadn't antagonized Will, this attack wouldn't have happened. R.J. is desperate to rip Electra away from Will, and he wasn't going to stop until he was eradicated from his orbit.
R.J. wanted Ridge to remove Will from the company. He was convinced that Will would ultimately let Electra down, and he cited this as an example of how he was bad news. While it may have been the wrong place at the wrong time, R.J. stood by his warning that Electra could do much better than Will.
With R.J.'s insistence and Steffy seemingly cosigning her brother's words, Ridge was placed in the position of determining whether or not Will had a future at Forrester. Will may have gotten the girl, but his career was not as certain at this point. One sucker punch to the Forrester heir may have cost him any chance of staying out of his parents' shadow.

Liam and Bill discussed Hope's exit from Forrester and their excitement for her to be respected at work from now on. Bill's assistant Alison let him know that they had a visitor, and while Bill was aware of the visit, Liam was not. Wyatt strutted into the office, and he revealed that their father summoned him back to Los Angeles.
Wyatt wasn't entirely aware of why his presence was requested so urgently. He knew about Katie's new fashion house, and although Katie deserved it, he wasn't sold on the name. Knowing Brooke's feelings about the Logan name, there was no chance that Ridge and Brooke would've been on board.
Wyatt also knew that they had used Eric's designs, but what he was unaware of was Eric being forced out by Ridge. If that hadn't happened, Eric never would've defected to Logan to begin with. However, Bill had a plan for the next phase of Logan, and it was evident that somehow it involved Wyatt's return.
Bill wasn't done with his vendetta to bring Ridge to his knees. Bill wanted the Hope for the Future diamond, which was a request that stunned both Liam and Wyatt. The diamond hadn't been mentioned in many years, and it was a demand that neither could've imagined.
Wyatt was back for the singular purpose of procuring the diamond for his father. It didn't take Wyatt long to piece together the news that Hope had jumped ship from Forrester to Logan. Liam tried his best to lie, but considering how terrible he is at deception, Wyatt was quickly up to speed.
Bill wanted assurance that Wyatt could somehow get the diamond for him. They needed to make a massive splash with Hope's Logan debut, and this was the best way to make an immediate impact.
