The Bold and the Beautiful Recap, May 29: Injured RJ gets his revenge on confused Will

On the Friday, May 29, 2026, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Will and Electra thought life was smooth sailing, but RJ and the Forresters had other ideas.

RJ makes demands

In Eric's office, RJ complained about his bruised rib from Will's sucker punch. Brooke was still aghast that Will did such a thing, but Steffy was grateful that it was just one punch. Finn once again advised RJ to ice it, take pain meds, and wait it out. RJ just wanted Will to be fired.

Brooke hated the idea of doing that to her nephew and Ridge still liked Will, despite him being Bill's son. But RJ insisted that Will's punch was completely uncalled for just because they liked the same girl. He was insistent that Will couldn't work for Forrester Creations anymore.

Life is Bold and Beautiful for Electra and Will...until it isn't

At the beach house, Will and Electra basked in their love now that they were officially reunited. Electra couldn't wait to spend all day at work together and all night at home. After an idyllic swim, they realized it was time to get to work. Will loved his job and felt proud doing something on his own.

Just then, Will got a text that Ridge wanted to see him. Electra and Will were sure that Ridge wanted to give Will good news about an idea he had. Will and Electra couldn't see how anything would ruin their perfect day.

When Electra arrived at the design office, she raved about the scent from Daphne's perfumes as she and Dylan caught up and gossiped about the night before at the Bikini Bar. Electra couldn't wait to tell Dylan that she was moving in with Will.

Dylan clearly felt some twangs of jealousy and sadness, but put on a happy face for Electra. She knew how much Will and Electra loved each other. Of course, Electra couldn't stop gushing about how happy she was. She loved Will and was in anguish being apart from him. Now that they were back together, why not take the next step and live together?

Dylan commented about how great the party was the night before, but was sorry it ended on a bad note. Electra was confused. What bad thing had happened? Dylan thought Will would have told her what had happened with RJ.

Will is fired

As for Will, he arrived at Eric's office to find Ridge, Brooke, RJ, Carter, and Steffy all waiting to see him. Ridge said they had to talk about what had happened last night. Will was sure they had all heard he was back with Electra. Finally, Ridge bought up the fight.

Will admitted he had gotten into it with RJ, but claimed RJ was harassing and touching Electra. Will said all he did was give RJ a "love tap" to the ribs, but the Forresters didn't see it that way. RJ was bruised and Finn had to take care of him. Finally, Ridge said they couldn't have violence in the office, so RJ finally blurted out the words of a reality TV host who became president. There goes carpooling to work with Electra every day.

Bill's diamond quest

At Bill's office, Liam commented that it was nice seeing Wyatt back, but Bill didn't like that he showed up with Shauna. Liam missed all three of them being together, but was intrigued by Bill's desire to find the Hope For The Future diamond. Bill was convinced that getting Hope, her line, and that diamond for Logan would be an "epic coup."

Liam warned his father that Brooke and the rest of the Forresters would freak out if Bill managed to get this diamond. Liam wasn't even sure how Hope would feel about this. He feared the diamond news would make Hope feel that coming to Logan was nothing but a mistake.

Bill remained confident that she wouldn't. In fact, he felt like he was on top of the world. Logan was here to stay and the whole fashion world would know it. However, Bill insisted that Liam not tell Hope about the diamond just yet.

Hope's big news

Deke met with Hope in Brooke's living room. Hope had some news for his brother. An opportunity had presented itself to both of them and they had wanted to take advantage. Hope hated having to tell Deke he was fired, just because Steffy demanded it.

When Deke said he knew another design chance would appear, Hope told him that it already had. She had made the jump to Logan and wanted him to come aboard as her lead designer. Deke was in a state of shock. He never expected Hope to leave Forrester Creations.

Hope said she never felt like she belonged at FC. She never had a future there, but now she had decided to take control of her own destiny. She knew her mother would lose her mind over this, but Hope was doing what she had to do.
