The Bold and the Beautiful's Hope couldn't just do the daring, big girl thing and jump ship from Forrester Creations to Logan. That would have sent shockwaves through both families, as well as the fashion industry. Instead, she decided to manipulate a situation to her own advantage and it's bound to backfire on her.
Hope does what she thinks she needs to do

Knowing that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was pushing Hope to the Future to the wayside again, Hope (Annika Noelle) lamented her plight to the Logan and Spencer sides of the family. That prompted Liam (Scott Clifton) to come up with what he thought was a brilliant idea. Hope should take her line to Logan, meaning Katie (Heather Tom) would have something to crow about for her new fashion house.
Hope immediately knew that it could destroy things between her and her mother. So, she went to Steffy and once again asked for concrete answers about her line. When she didn't get them, Hope almost quit, but then she apparently came up with a new idea to get her way.
Hope sat Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) down, poured it on thick, and convinced Brooke that she was the greatest thing to ever happen to Forrester Creations. Brooke, who likes hearing wonderful things about herself, bought it hook, line, and sinker. Why, yes, she should be the new co-CEO of Forrester Creations. Forget that, mean Steffy! That was exactly what Hope wanted to hear, but she left a few things out of her pitch.
What if Hope doesn't get her way?

What Hope neglected to mention to her mother was that she wanted her to become Forrester co-CEO again just so she could greenlight Hope for the Future. Does Brooke even realize that was what Hope was up to? If she does, will this cause even more problems with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye)?
Brooke may get the job she wants, but that doesn't mean that Hope will have the job that she wants. What will Hope do if her gambit doesn't pay off? Will she then jump ship to Logan after she's caused yet another brouhaha with upper management at Forrester Creations. That seems to be an annual thing now for Hope, doesn't it?
