It's a rare Bold and the Beautiful moment when we are totally on Steffy's side, but May 13, 2026, brought us firmly there. The look on her face when she realized what Ridge wanted from her said it all, so Steffy then used her mouth to say it all — and good for her.
What did you just say?

With no warning whatsoever, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) just waltzed into Eric's (John McCook) office and casually told Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) that there should be a change in co-CEOs. Maybe Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) should be in the position. Yeah, just like that. No forethought. No planning. No reason. Just a new idea that Steffy was supposed to go along with, no questions asked.
And sitting at home was Brooke, trying to be optimistic that Steffy would say, "Sure, Dad. Whatever you want. I need to spend more time with Kelly and Hayes anyway." She must be as delusional as Ridge. At least Hope was realistic enough to know Steffy would have a cow. She also relished the thought.
How did Brooke and Ridge think this was okay and that it would all go smoothly? How did they think Steffy wouldn't be rightfully outraged and deeply wounded? Yes, nepotism got her the position (just like it got Hope her line), but Steffy has done a pretty decent job for quite a few years now. Why would Brooke and Ridge think she would even remotely go along with this without a fight?
The Bold and the Beautiful's Steffy makes some pretty good points

While Steffy did not have the conniption that Hope (Annika Noelle) predicted, she was rightfully wounded and expressed her feelings. At the end of the episode when she told Ridge that he just loved Brooke more than her, she wasn't trying to guilt him. It was how she felt because that is what he has shown her over and over again. And he was doing it again.
Ridge always seems to choose Brooke over his own daughter. Brooke doesn't have the right to just demand that he fire his very capable child and install her in a position. And Ridge doesn't have the right to ask this of Steffy. She's come second to Brooke's needs and wishes so many times in her life, going back to childhood. She is not going to take this lying down, nor should she, and that's why we are finally Team Steffy all the way.
