The Bold and the Beautiful Tattle Tales: Will Dylan rat Ivy out?

The Bold and the Beautiful storyline surrounding Will, Dylan, and Electra is heating up. Now that Dylan overheard Daphne putting Ivy on blast for her manipulations, will Dylan tell Will and Electra?

It's a shame that Dylan (Sydney Bullock) confronted Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) on Wednesday's episode of The Bold and the Beautiful. She overheard Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) tell Ivy how wrong she is for manipulating Will (Crew Morrow) and Electra (Laneya Grace). Dylan now knows that something fishy is going on, and Ivy is the cause of it. But we already know how this conversation is likely going to go, right? Ivy is going to do the same thing to Dylan that she's been doing to Daphne. She's going to give Dylan a stern warning not to rat her out to Will and Electra, and Dylan will keep her mouth shut -- or will she?

Why is everyone supposed to be afraid of Ivy? Why hasn't Daphne told Will and Electra what Ivy did? Even if Ivy tells Dylan to keep quiet, or she will be fired, Ivy is not in a position to fire anyone. All Dylan would have to do is tell Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), the co-CEO, what Ivy did, and perhaps Steffy would blast Ivy. Steffy doesn't like Ivy as it is, and no one puts people on blast better than Steffy. And who knows? Maybe Steffy would fire Ivy for messing with Will and Electra's love life in the workplace, which has created a lot of personal melodrama for everyone involved. When do they have time to do any work?

Will Dylan tell the truth despite Electra's uppity attitude?

Some fans of B&B have described Electra as uppity, immature, insecure, entitled, and a pampered princess. We will throw in "drama queen." When she ordered Dylan to quit her new job, that was just plain wrong, especially since she knows how badly Dylan needs a full-time job to make ends meet. So, considering that Electra isn't showing her compassion, will Dylan keep quiet about Ivy's secret? If she does, then we have to admit that it would be the equivalent of "two wrongs don't make a right."

This whole storyline has been so messy. Will and Electra supposedly "broke up," but we never saw a face-to-face break-up -- because it never happened. And even though Electra hasn't told Will that she kissed RJ, what Will doesn't know is that she told RJ not to kiss her again. Will walked away after he saw the kiss, so he missed that crucial part of the scene.

But getting back to the question at hand, will Dylan keep Ivy's secret, especially considering that she wants Will for herself? That remains to be seen. She is still a fairly new character, so we don't know very much about her yet. One important soap lesson is that new characters are not always what they appear to be. We assume that Dylan really was homeless, since we saw her eat pizza out of a dumpster at Il Giardino. But is she really as kind and innocent as she seems?

Or are we going to discover, weeks or months from now, that she's been playing a long con and she has a hidden agenda? When she confessed that she was the person who ran down Luna (Lisa Yamada), she said it was accidental. The issue was resolved very quickly, which was odd. There was no investigation. Everyone took her word for it, despite her having a motive. Luna had locked her in the closet at the beach house when she terrorized Steffy and shot Sheila (Kimberlin Brown). The bottom line is, is Dylan a character we can trust? It feels like it's too soon to know for sure.

Will Dylan team up with RJ to keep Will and Electra apart?

Why is Ivy trying to pair up RJ (Brayan Nicoletti), her cousin, with her niece, Electra? And why does she go on and on about his muscles? Some fans of The Bold and the Beautiful say that Ivy is "pimping out her niece to RJ." It sure seems that way, and we wonder why she keeps trying so hard to push them together. Why does she keep saying that Will is a jerk who doesn't deserve Electra? What does she have against him? Is there more to it than what's playing out onscreen?

Some fans also speculate that Dylan and RJ will team up to keep Will and Electra apart. We can picture that happening, since it's a common trope that soap writers use. But would Dylan stoop that low? We hope not, but again, we still don't know her well enough to determine what she would do.

When she confronted Ivy about manipulating Electra and Will, she sounded appalled that Ivy would do such a thing. So, that's a hopeful sign that Dylan is trustworthy and will tell Will and Electra that Ivy is up to no good. Even if Electra doesn't believe her, Daphne will confirm what Dylan told them. Unfortunately, we have to wait until Monday to see the continuation of Ivy and Dylan's conversation. Stay tuned, B&B fans!
