The Bold and the Beautiful is once again testing the boundaries of what is and is not appropriate. Although Ivy has declared that Dylan and Will's interaction is not proper (at all), she supports RJ and Electra becoming involved. To clarify, in Ivy's deluded mind, it's a declaration of war to dance like a ballerina, but kissing your cousin (blood-related or not) is perfectly acceptable. This is simply another case of the Forrester family doing whatever they want and playing by their own set of rules.

Beyond that, Brooke once again showcased that nobody in all of Los Angeles has a more overly inflated ego than she does. Her entire speech to Katie in Eric's living room was tone deaf, delusional, and showed a complete lack of self-awareness about her importance in the world. Between Brooke's tirade and Ivy's mind-boggling mindset, it's time to break it all down, two scoops style.

Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) has been actively strangely for several weeks, but she has officially lost the plot. Her obsession with Dylan's (Sydney Bullock) alleged improper behavior was one thing, but she stopped at a new low this week. Ivy went from trying to look out for Electra's (Laneya Grace) happiness to proactively destroying her relationship with Will (Crew Morrow). However, the biggest question mark of all is how someone so concerned with what is or isn't proper would be comfortable sending RJ (Brayan Nicoletti) in Electra's direction.

Whether they are blood-related or not, Electra and RJ are cousins. They are both Forresters, and the optics are wild. This show loves to push boundaries, but there are a million ways to pair these characters besides kissing cousins. Ivy pushing for this while screaming about improper behavior is laughable, it's disgusting, and it's stupid. It makes absolutely no sense, and The Bold and the Beautiful was FINALLY recovering from the cartoonish antics of Luna (Lisa Yamada), and they're risking alienating fans with this.

Queen Brooke's royal decree

Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) might be the most delusional person across the entire canvas. Nobody has a greater sense of entitlement, and that's saying something. The way she talked down to Katie (Heather Tom) this week was appalling, and unlike Katie, Brooke is completely unable to see her own faults. Even Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), the narcissist that he is, took accountability for his actions and for how they led Eric (John McCook) to defect to Katie's company. Brooke, however, is blinded by her own success and has no idea how ridiculous she sounds to everyone around her.

Brooke needs a reality check. The best possible thing that could happen to her is Katie's new company somehow becoming a smashing success. Being forced to watch her little sister thrive outside of her shadow and influence is the only thing that could maybe silence Brooke once and for all. She's her own biggest fan, and it's an act that's grown quite stale over the last three decades. There was a time when it felt fine to potentially root for Brooke, but those days have long since passed.
