The Bold and the Beautiful Two Scoops For the Week of February 9, 2026: Prince Will and the Forrester Dragons

The Bold and the Beautiful knows how to be as frustrating as it is entertaining. The characters on this show, namely the Forresters, remain the most unlikable crop of people in daytime. Every episode features someone ordering someone around and demanding that they live their lives by whatever code of ethics they choose to abide by that day. Ivy has gone from complete obscurity on the show, serving no real purpose, to making it her mission to meddle in Will and Electra's relationship. Her callousness led Dylan to return to a life of dumpster diving for dinner.

Weddings should be a time for joy and celebration, but Carter and Daphne's nuptials looked anything but. In fact, everything about their relationship has felt forced and quite one-sided, and it's time to break it all down, two scoops style.

Ivy and Electra are the absolute worst, and there's no getting around that. Ivy is the one in the wrong about what happened at the beach house. She crept outside of Will's windows at night, convinced herself of a false narrative, and ordered Dylan to leave town. Dylan had been through so much in her life by that point that she reverted to a life of homelessness to keep Electra from being hurt. Ivy is beyond despicable for her callous treatment of Dylan, and has become just as unlikable as Brooke and Ridge.

Electra had a choice. She could've done the right thing and listened to Will and Dylan, rather than letting her insecurities drive her decision-making. Electra gave Will the most privileged ultimatum of all time. His options were to risk losing the love of his life or throw Dylan back out on the street, which is a grossly unfair position to put anyone in. The Bold and the Beautiful has many characters with questionable morals, but this was just depressing to watch. Nobody should be forced to eat a pizza out of a back alley bin.

There shouldn't even be a choice. Electra is flashing a million red flags in Will's direction, so it's best if he just lets the relationship reach a definitive end. However, Dylan looks like she might become an issue as well. It was easy to sympathize with her, but the closing moments of Friday's all-new episode made it clear that viewers are in for another obsession storyline. The moment she referred to Will as the prince who saved her, she became the latest in a string of crazy women to enter Will's life.

Bride and gloom

Daphne Rose did not want to marry Carter Walton. Let's say it together: Daphne Rose does not love Carter Walton. Has anyone ever looked more disinterested on their wedding day than the Nose of Paris did? She looked like she was being held hostage in the showroom, forced to agree to an impromptu wedding. A working theory is that she only agreed to marry Carter because of their shared desire to start a family. He seemed like the easiest way for Daphne to make that happen.

These two have absolutely no chemistry, and the only sizzling that happens during their love scenes is the eyes of those watching at home. Carter has a lot of potential on The Bold and the Beautiful, and he could be utilized much better than he has been. Daphne, on the other hand, has fallen completely flat since her debut and feels like one of the most one-dimensional characters on the canvas. Daphne comes across as so replaceable that it wouldn't be surprising if the marriage crumbled and she returned to France.

A scenario exists in which Daphne could leave town one night under the cover of darkness with their future child, never to be seen or heard from again. There's just not a lot jumping off the screen to make a case for Daphne and Carter being a couple worth becoming invested in. There are a lot of dud pairings like them and Will and Electra, but at least the latter looks to be in its final days. Chemistry is important for a couple to succeed, and it's evident that Will and Dylan have it, so maybe one day Daphne will display that with someone.
