As viewers of The Bold and the Beautiful, it's easy to become invested in the characters' lives and the directions their actions and choices take them. Deacon and Taylor flirted with temptation too many times, and this week Sheila learned everything about their affair. However, what if things take a far different direction than everyone anticipated? Everyone assumed that Sheila would resort to violence when she learned the truth, but so far, she's shown a great deal of restraint. Sheila has the power in her hands to ruin Deacon's life without committing a single crime. Now, we ask ourselves, "What if" the storyline takes Sheila in a vastly different direction?

Soap Central embraces the fantasy fun of "What if" and ponders the possibility of Sheila using the court system to get her revenge.

There's no hiding the truth anymore about The Bold and the Beautiful's Deacon (Sean Kanan) and Taylor's (Rebecca Budig) affair. Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) stitched the pieces together on her own, and after confronting Taylor in her office, her worst nightmare was confirmed. Unsurprisingly, Taylor expected Sheila to resort to violence as a means of revenge for the betrayal, but Sheila took the high road and left her physically unharmed. Instead, Sheila took her knowledge to Deacon on Tuesday's episode, but on Wednesday, Deacon admitted that he'd fallen in love with Taylor.

Sheila was devastated to learn that her husband had somehow fallen for another woman. As she pleaded with Deacon to let her know whether or not he loved her back, Deacon's only concern was if Sheila somehow did anything to hurt Taylor. Deacon was Sheila's safe place, and despite always being the one to tell her that she wasn't the monster that everyone made her out to be, that was precisely how he reacted to her. In the darkest moment of their marriage, Deacon looked past Sheila, and he only cared about Taylor and her well-being. The episode concluded with Sheila being hopeful that her marriage wasn't over, but all signs point to a divorce in their future.

Since Sheila shocked everyone and decided not to return to her old habits, there's another route that she could take that might hit her cheating husband even harder. What if Sheila sued for control of Il Giardino and ripped away the one thing that Deacon loved more than anything? He has prided himself on making a name for himself as one of the finest restaurateurs in Los Angeles, and Sheila has been a significant part of that success. Killing Taylor and going on a violent spree isn't going to do anything for Sheila other than land her back in prison. However, using this affair as a means to gain control of Il Giardino might be a fate worse than death.

At this point, Sheila has nothing to lose. Her son Finn (Tanner Novlan) wants nothing to do with her. She has no contact with her grandson Hayes, and her granddaughter Luna (Lisa Yamada) was killed after escaping. If Sheila's marriage is truly over, there's no reason for her not to hit Deacon where it hurts. Crippled his professional life as a punishment for the way he dismantled her personal life. In a time where Sheila has become the victim of the story, this could be her opportunity to emerge as somewhat of an unorthodox hero for women.
