The Bold and the Beautiful 'What If' May 27: Quinn becomes Logan’s secret weapon against Forrester

The Bold and the Beautiful's Wyatt Spencer made his grand return to Los Angeles after an extended period away. He was mostly kept in the loop about the current happenings at the company, evidenced by his knowledge of Katie's new fashion house and the use of Eric's designs. Wyatt's first task now that he's back is to procure the Hope for the Future diamond. What if Wyatt's next adventure leads to the return of someone the Forresters loathe even more than Bill?

Now that Wyatt (Darin Brooks) is officially back in Los Angeles, he's been given a major assignment by his father Bill (Don Diamont). After figuring out that Hope was making the jump from Forrester to Logan, Bill's true motivations for summoning Wyatt back to the family company were finally revealed. Bill requested that Wyatt get his hands on the Hope for the Future diamond, a stunning piece of jewelry last seen several years ago.

If Bill is going to make an immediate impact upon Hope's arrival at Logan, there's no better way to do it than with something as monumental as gaining possession of the diamond. Hope is a recognizable name in the industry, and it could be argued that her line was hotter than ever during the time that she had the diamond. HFTF hasn't felt like a major collection in many years, and this could be what it takes to thrust it back into the spotlight.

Now that Wyatt has been given his marching orders by his father, there's one person that immediately comes to mind who could help secure the HFTF diamond. What if Wyatt's search leads him directly to his mother, Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer), who hasn't been seen since she ended things with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor)? Quinn either has the diamond herself or knows exactly where it is, and few people are more connected in the jewelry world than Quinn.

Considering how Quinn's marriage to Eric (John McCook) came to an abrupt end after she caught him having an affair with Donna (Jennifer Gareis), she might be inclined to help Logan stick it to the Forresters. Nobody in the Forrester family ever treated Quinn with any semblance of respect, so why wouldn't she jump at the chance to get the last laugh?

However, if there's anyone that Quinn loathes as much as the Forresters, it's Bill. Quinn and Bill have been able to coexist in the past for Wyatt's sake, but would she really be willing to help line his pockets? Quinn and Hope also have a complicated past due to her perceived role in Hope's previous miscarriage, so Quinn returning for an arc involving the diamond has several juicy directions the story could go.
