Friday's episode of The Bold and the Beautiful showed Ivy gathering her things together for a leave of absence from Forrester Creations. Daphne was the last person she talked to, and Ivy's parting words to her were creepy. When she returns, will she target Daphne for telling Electra that she stole her letter to Will?

Ivy's veiled threat on The Bold and the Beautiful

When B&B's Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) boxed her personal belongings and prepared to exit Forrester Creations for a leave of absence, it seemed appropriate that Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) was the last person she spoke to. Her parting words were ominous. "I will be back," she said. "You make no mistake about that, Daphne."

Now that Ivy has some free time on her hands, will she use it to orchestrate a revenge plan against Daphne for telling Electra (Laneya Grace) that she took her letter to Will (Crew Morrow)? What exactly does she think she can do to Daphne that will ruin her life? She didn't get Daphne fired. She didn't even try to get her fired when she spoke to Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang).

Ivy's state of mind seemed to fluctuate throughout the conversation. At first, she didn't seem sorry at all for what she did. She blamed Daphne for blowing up her life by telling Electra the truth. Ivy said, "I'm leaving Forrester, L.A., and my niece -- all because of you." But, later in the conversation, she surprisingly sounded a bit contrite, admitting, "I shouldn't have done what I did with the letter." Then, before she left, it sounded like she went back to blaming Daphne. She made it clear that she would return. When she added, "You make no mistake about that," those words felt threatening. Does Daphne have something to worry about upon Ivy's eventual return?

Let's hope Ivy doesn't turn into the next Luna

So far, we haven't seen Ivy behave violently as Luna (Lisa Yamada) did. But Ivy and Luna have some similarities. Luna was obsessed with having a relationship with her father, who turned out to be Finn (Tanner Novlan). Similarly, Ivy has been behaving like she's obsessed with her niece, Electra. Luna viewed Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) as an obstacle in her relationship with Finn, just as Ivy blames Daphne for interfering with her attempt to protect her niece from potential heartbreak.

So, it might not be a stretch to think that Ivy might allow her obsession to get the best of her, the same way Luna did during the beach house blood bath. Luna was going to shoot Steffy when Liam (Scott Clifton) arrived and saved the day.

Let's hope the B&B writers aren't planning to take Ivy down the same violent path that they took Luna. We've had enough obsessed stalkers on the show lately. We don't need any more.

Could Ivy be stalking Dylan?

Friday's sneak previews for next week on The Bold and the Beautiful show us someone hiding behind some dresses and scaring Dylan (Sydney Bullock) out of her wits. The stalker couldn't possibly be Ivy, could it?

After all, Ivy bullied Dylan into moving out of Will's beach house a few months ago. Ivy's been getting on a lot of people's nerves lately (like Daphne, Will, and Dylan, just to name a few). She seems to have a personal vendetta against Will, simply because he's a Spencer. She wanted Dylan out of Will's life. She wants Will out of Electra's life. And perhaps she wants Daphne out of Forrester Creations, because Daphne tattled on her for stealing Electra's letter to Will. Will Ivy go on a rampage and go after everyone whom she views as an obstacle to Electra's happiness?

We really hope not. We've seen enough of Ivy and her manipulations. Let's hope her leave of absence is a long one. And when she returns, let's hope she leaves Daphne and everyone else alone.
