The Bold and the Beautiful: Why we need Wyatt back

For a long time on The Bold and the Beautiful, we weren't seeing very much of Bill Spencer. He wasn't getting a front-burner storyline. But in the past couple of years, he was involved in the Luna storyline, and now, he is remarried to Katie and he gifted her a fashion house. Now that we are seeing more of Bill, wouldn't it be great if Wyatt came back to work with him at Spencer Publications?

Here are three reasons why we need Wyatt back on the B&B canvas:

Dollar Bill (Don Diamont), Liam (Scott Clifton), and Wyatt (Darin Brooks) were like the three Musketeers on The Bold and Beautiful. Sure, they've had their issues with each other throughout the years, but overall, they've had a good relationship -- especially considering that Bill didn't get a chance to raise either Liam or Wyatt.

So, it would be nice to see the three Spencer men reunited. Maybe we could get an interesting business-related storyline for them? Perhaps something involving a rival publishing company for Spencer Publications?

Also, now that Will (Crew Morrow) has grown up, it would be cool to see him get in on the fun that the other Spencer men had together. Then, they could be the four Musketeers. It would be interesting to see the onscreen brotherly chemistry between Crew Morrow's grown-up Will and Wyatt.

Maybe the Watie flame could become reignited?

Once upon a time on The Bold and the Beautiful, Wyatt and Katie (Heather Tom) had a hot romance. Their fans called them "Watie." Wyatt brought out a playful side to Katie that we'd never seen before, not even during her marriage to Bill. They became engaged and shared the news with Bill. He went ballistic, calling their relationship sick, twisted, and disgusting. When Katie happened to mention that Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) supported her relationship with Wyatt, Bill sarcastically replied, "A seal of approval from the relationship pinball machine!"

Dollar Bill is known for being a ruthless bully, and in this episode, he certainly lived up to that description. B&B fans, if you want to see some excellent scenes that truly demonstrate just how nasty Bill can get, then we highly recommend that you watch this particular episode. Bill made separate threats to Wyatt and Katie. "You disgrace me and our family, and you are no longer my son," Bill hissed. "Pack your bags and get the hell out! I will have papers drawn up. You will be cut out. Every penny -- gone. Houses -- gone. Jobs -- gone. You will have nothing."

Then, Bill threatened to sue Katie for full custody of Will. Those threats led to a heated argument between Wyatt and Bill, as well as Katie and Bill. "You're a fool," Bill told Wyatt. "And you will come crawling back on your hands and knees when you are done with that." He pointed to Katie when he said "that." When we watch those scenes, we wonder why in the world she married Bill again!

What if Wyatt returns to B&B, and the old flame between him and Katie starts burning again? Now that Will is an adult, there can no longer be a dispute over custody. What if Wyatt and Katie remember the sparks they once shared, and they begin to develop feelings for each other again? Might the B&B writers do a triangle between Katie, Bill, and Wyatt? It might be fun, considering that we usually don't see two men fight over Katie -- least of all, two men who are related.

Or maybe we could get a triangle with Carter, Daphne, and Wyatt?

Or just maybe Wyatt and Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) could become attracted to each other, if he blows back into L.A. before she ties the knot with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor). Things are going too smoothly for Carter and Daphne right now, so the B&B writers may need to shake things up for them. Wyatt may be the answer.

Poor Carter can never catch a break when it comes to landing a wife. Something always goes wrong for him. That seems to be the pattern on The Bold and the Beautiful. So, if Wyatt's presence were to throw a monkey wrench into Carter's engagement to Daphne, then that would only be continuing the pattern that the writers have set for Carter.

Would Wyatt and Daphne be compatible? That remains to be seen. All we know is that we need him back on B&B. He needs to reunite with his family and find a new love -- unless he and Flo (Katrina Bowden) are married by now. Whatever happened between them? Their engagement went on forever, but we never did see them get married.
