The Bold and the Beautiful: Will Liam blab about Eric's new gig?

Now that The Bold and the Beautiful's Liam has accidentally discovered that Eric is Katie's head designer at Logan, he has a big secret that's weighing him down. Bill warned him not to tell anyone the secret, especially Hope and Brooke, but will Liam be able to keep it to himself?

We hadn't seen Liam (Scott Clifton) on The Bold and the Beautiful in what felt like ages. But now that he's back, he has a big secret to carry. And let's face it, this is Liam Spencer we're talking about. Longtime B&B fans know he isn't good at keeping secrets!

But Dollar Bill (Don Diamont) made it crystal clear to him that he needs to keep quiet about Eric (John McCook) designing for Logan. As he told Liam, "We have to get Eric to the finish line before Ridge finds out." We can't wait to see how Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) will react when he learns that his father is designing for a rival fashion house! Let's hope this storyline doesn't drag on too long before that happens.

In the meantime, it's going to be fun watching Liam squirm uncomfortably in his seat around his wife, Hope (Annika Noelle), and his mother-in-law, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). Brooke will be especially shocked to learn this news, and she will be even more upset with Katie (Heather Tom) than she already is (over the fact that Katie named her fashion house Logan).

If Liam does blab about the secret, who will he blab to?

If Liam gets to a point where he feels like he's about to explode if he doesn't tell someone the secret, then who will he confide in? There is really no character on B&B he's close to, who is removed from the situation.

He is close to his brother, Will (Crew Morrow), but he can't confide in him because Will works at Forrester Creations. He may also have a hard time keeping the secret. And then, Will may blab the secret to his girlfriend, Electra (Laneya Grace), who also works at FC (and who is a Forrester).

Liam used to be married to Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer), and they are still on friendly terms. But he can't confide in Ivy, because she also works at FC and is a Forrester.

See how messy this situation is? Liam is in a real jam here. He can't confide in his father-in-law, Deacon (Sean Kanan), either because he may blab the secret to Hope. Liam can't confide in Deke (Harrison Cone), because he's Hope's brother. He can't confide in his ex-wife, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), because she is a Forrester and the co-CEO at FC. You get the picture! This dilemma is like The Bold and the Beautiful version of "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon." Somehow, every character is connected to the Forresters.

Will Liam's marriage be in jeopardy?

Liam and Hope just got remarried a couple of months ago. Even if he does manage to keep the secret about Eric designing for Logan, what's going to happen once Ridge and Brooke find out, and Hope learns that Liam knew about it all along? This is a soap, so we assume she will find out that he knew. Will she be angry that he didn't tell her? Will it become an obstacle for them in their brand-new marriage? Will Hope feel like she can't trust Liam anymore?

This is going to be a tough situation for Liam to navigate. No matter what he does, he's going to disappoint someone he loves. If he blabs, then Bill will be furious at him. If he doesn't blab, but Hope finds out later that he knew the secret but kept quiet, then she will wonder where his loyalty lies -- with his wife or with his father. That could become a big problem in their marriage. How will Liam handle it? And how will he handle the wrath of big, bad Dollar Bill if he does blab? Stay tuned, B&B fans. It looks like it's going to be a bumpy ride for Liam these next few weeks!
