Days of our Lives Daily YAPP Recap, January 9: Javi needs to stop being ridiculous

Welcome to Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on Days of our Lives

Talk about a man with no confidence. Javi Hernandez just cannot accept that Leo Stark loves him and only him despite their deep connection and the vows they just took a few short days ago. Why can't Javi just be happy with the fact that Leo made such changes in his life just for him? He strived to be a better person for him and got down on one knee and proposed to him. Leo never did any of this for Dimitri, a man with whom he committed multiple crimes and with whom he was barely romantically attached. Leo and Dimitri were hardly a love story and spent a few months as a slapstick comedy couple on the run and/or hiding from Dimitri's wife and Leo's BFF, Gwen. Leo has even told Javi that his relationship with him is completely different from the one he had with Dimitri. Yet Javi refuses to believe it, which is downright frustrating, as Leo has given him absolutely no reason to feel that Leo doesn't love him with all of his heart. Leo even made his way to the DiMera mansion to tell him how much he loves Javi, and it was Dimitri who pulled Leo in for a kiss that Leo didn't even seem to enjoy. Javi just needs to stop crying and listen to his husband. Their wedding only ended as it did because of Javi's own choice.
