On Days of our Lives, the week of August 10 to 14, 2026, Stephanie moved out, Leo stayed behind, Philip made a gamble, Rachel had a revelation, Holly reconnected with Tate, Theo tracked down Lexie, and Rita put a blackmailing water inspector on ice.
What happened on Days of our Lives

Stephanie moved into Jada’s apartment so that Alex would have more space for Kelsey while Joy was in the hospital. Alex asked Steve for help throwing a wedding reception for Stephanie as a way to make his wife feel loved. Steve agreed to help, but he advised Alex to set boundaries with Joy about their relationship.
Stephanie told Kayla that she planned to take the high road and avoid Joy. Alex promised Stephanie that he would make time for her, and he would use babysitters to make sure that he kept Kelsey separate per Joy’s wishes.
Chanel was happy to be reunited with Trey now that he was over his cold, and she was feeling better since the end of her chemotherapy. With three weeks left in her pregnancy, Chanel was nesting in preparation.
Though Chanel had been experiencing Braxton-Hicks, she said she felt fine. Chanel and Alex bonded over parenthood, and they agreed to set up a playdate for their kids. Chanel advised Alex not to let Joy disrupt her marriage like Joy had disrupted hers.
Rafe to the Rescue

Rafe asked Dimitri to let go of Leo and Gwen and accompany them back to Salem to make a statement against Gwen. When Dimitri refused, Rafe argued that without Dimitri’s help, EJ would get away with his crimes. Leo begged Dimitri and Gwen to move on from the wreckage of their love triangle, but Dimitri refused to give up on punishing Gwen. Leo offered to stay with Dimitri if he agreed to let Rafe and Gwen go. Dimitri said yes.
After leaving Dimitri, Gwen argued they should return to save Leo. Rafe countered that his priority was to take Gwen home. Rafe said that Leo had agreed to stay and could take care of himself. Rafe told Gwen she could avoid prison if she helped him destroy EJ. Leo told Dimitri that he did not want a life with him because they both deserved better. Dimtri said he was confident that Leo would change his mind.
Philip's Gamble

Philip told Gabi about his plan to win the needed money in a high-stakes poker game. Philip asked Gabi to stake his buy-in. Philip kept the idea from Xander. Xander broke the news about Titan to Sarah. Sarah told Xander not to beat himself up for the loss because they had all played a part in Titan’s downfall. Xander suggested that until they worked out their trust issues, they should keep their emotional distance from one another.
Rachel was upset about Kristen’s flight from town. Brady encouraged Rachel to trust Kristen’s judgment. Rachel wondered if things were better when her mother was not around. Brady told Rachel not to feel bad and to use the separation as a time to relax. Sarah told Brady about the loss of the Kiriakis fortune. Brady told Sarah about Kristen’s decision to leave and Rachel’s revelation that Kristen was a bad influence in her life.
Holly and Tate Reunite

Holly confided in Ari about Amy’s threats. Over a workout, Tate told Aaron that he was concerned that Holly would not forgive him. Aaron coordinated a cookout for the foursome to get Holly and Tate back together, and they had a fun day together. Aaron kissed Ari.
Concerned about Lexie, Lani asked Jada for help. Jada agreed to run a wellness check. Theo grew increasingly concerned about Lexie, and Lani confirmed his suspicions that Lexie had not flown to South Africa. Theo shared his suspicions with Johnny, who confronted EJ. Cat eavesdropped as EJ told Johnny about Lexie’s condition and why she was in the tunnels. Johnny did not tell Theo about Lexie or her condition.
Theo confided to Marlena that he was worried that Lexie was sick again. Marlena did not confirm his fear. Cat overheard the conversation, and she told Marlena to encourage Theo to look in the DiMera tunnels because she believed that Lexie was staying there. Abe suspected that Lexie was with Rolf. Theo reached out to Marlena again for help. Marlena told Theo about Lexie’s condition and that she was likely in the tunnels.
Traveling Abroad

Chief City Water Inspector Devlin St. John (John Oliver) questioned Paulina and Julie about the well water contamination on Smith Island before he confronted EJ about it. Devlin told EJ that the head of DiMera Pharma was his golfing buddy, and he had drunkenly told him every detail of the Coriseal cover-up. EJ played dumb, but Devlin insisted that DiMera pay for the full remediation. Devlin agreed to keep silent about DiMera’s fault if they paid now rather than wait for a public battle.
Rita and EJ drugged Devlin with the memory-erasing drug, CRS-17. The drug worked, but Devlin overheard about Lexie, and Rita was forced to take action. Not wanting to kill her crush, Rita put Devlin in a cryo tube pod for safekeeping.
Belle promised Marlena she would wait to go to Italy with Chad. Chad suggested they take the family jet to Italy after Charlotte’s dance. When Chad went over to the mansion to ask EJ about Kristen’s disappearance, Theo interrupted to ask about Lexie. Against Rita’s protestations, Theo and Chad went into the tunnels and located Lexie.
Marlena encouraged Paulina not to cut Abe out of her life. Paulina took Marlena’s advice, and she asked Chanel to give a present to Abe for his birthday. When Paulina gave the gift to Chanel to pass along, she said she was concerned that Marlena knew that there was something wrong with Abe.
At Abe’s birthday dinner, Chad interrupted to tell him that Lexie was at the mansion. Chad yelled at Cat when he saw her, because she had failed to tell him about Lexie. Cat attempted to explain that she had wanted to confirm her information before she told Chad, but he argued that Cat had been corrupted by EJ. When Abe and Theo returned to Lexie’s room in the tunnels, she was unconscious. Across town, Chanel appeared to go into labor.
