What happened on Days of our Lives, Tuesday, February 10, 2026, when Brady found an apartment, and the DiMera family said their final farewell to Stefano.
What happened on Days of our Lives

EJ, Tony, Chad, and Theo walked into the crypt with Stefano’s urn. “My mother had Harold and the staff restore everything to its previous state as soon as the police took down the crime scene tape,” EJ said. “Except that,” Theo said as he nodded toward a small patch of crime scene tape. Theo started to have a panic attack as Chad removed it.
Theo admitted that he felt like a coward because he was the only one who had gotten upset. “Yeah, but we weren’t hurt the way that you were,” Chad said. Chad told Theo that he had been brave. “I doubt that Kristen will join us, given that she blames us all for Peter’s death,” Tony said. Kristen walked in, and she clarified that the only person she blamed was EJ.
“We’re burying our father. And all you can do is lob insults and cast blame,” EJ muttered. Kristen countered that Stefano loved to pit them against one another. “Then I’m surprised you would give him that victory, Kristen,” Chad said. Theo said he believed Stefano would want them to band together, like they had when they had been trapped in the crypt.
“I think he’d be more impressed that we all made it out alive,” Tony said. Kristen raised an eyebrow. “All of us?” Kristen said. Tony apologized. Kristen argued that everyone was happy that Peter was dead, but Tony disagreed. “I am sorry that none of you knew the real Peter before Father poisoned his mind,” Kristen said. Tony argued that Peter had been changed by his illness. EJ urged everyone to stay positive and not dwell on painful memories. Theo admitted he did not have bad memories of Stefano.
“Well, I’m very glad that that’s how you remember him, because the rest of us experienced a much different side,” Chad said. Tony talked about how Stefano had regularly manipulated and brainwashed people, including family. Kristen added that Stefano had separated her from her mother as a child.

“And yet, don’t we admire him and even envy him for how faithful he was to the call of his heart. And ever so faithful in chasing that dream,” Tony said. Tony talked about Stefano’s obsession with Marlena and how Stefano had tossed Tony aside in favor of EJ. “He did no such thing,” EJ objected. Tony reminded EJ that as the oldest, he should have been the heir, but Stefano had favored EJ instead. “Just because I wasn’t his flesh and blood,” Tony said. Tony argued that EJ was just as manipulative and obsessive as Stefano.
“And it is that obsessiveness that might be the defining DiMera trait,” Tony argued. Tony pointed out that everyone in the DiMera family had obsessions. EJ countered that their devotion to their children was a better defining DiMera trait. Chad agreed.
“For all the ways that he scarred us, when it came down to the wire, our father would have laid down his life for us,” Chad said. “Or one of his lives,” Tony said. Theo agreed that EJ, Chad, and Kristen would do the same for their children. “Just as your mother would have done for you,” EJ added. Theo wondered aloud about Stefano’s bones, and Tony suggested that Dr. Rolf had returned them to the crypt.

“But none of us know where [Rolf] is,” Tony said. EJ thought about how Rolf had told him about the disappearance of Stefano’s body. “I guess we’ll never know who was responsible for returning father back to us. But thank god he was,” EJ said. EJ placed the urn in a box. Chad placed flowers on top. “Your unwavering love of family is what I’ll always carry with me,” Chad said. Kristen stepped up.
“As angry as I’ve sometimes been with you, oh especially now, for what you did to Peter and my mother. But I do have to say when I was in your presence, you somehow managed to capture my heart. With your wit and your indomitable spirit. So in spite of it all, I am honored to carry your name,” Kristen said. Theo thanked Stefano for having made him feel valued. “And I’ll forever be grateful for giving life to my mother and passing on that legacy of love through her to me,” Theo said. Theo placed a chess piece in the box.
Despite having inherited some of your more challenging traits, I, too, am honored to bear your name,” EJ said to Stefano. Tony placed his flowers last. “How vigorously you embraced life, how ardently you loved. And though your journey may be marked by moral ambiguity, you invariably gave it your all. And for that, I will always honor your memory. Rest well, Father,” Tony said. Tony closed the box, and the family gathered around and placed a hand on top.
While everyone decided to go to the house to make a toast to Stefano, EJ announced he wanted to stay behind to have a moment alone. Chad lingered until everyone, but EJ had left. “You are very important to me,” Chad said. Chad told EJ that he hoped he could find some peace. EJ noted he felt the same way about Chad.
“I only wished I possessed half the integrity that you do, that I were half as good a father, half as good a man,” EJ added. “You’re a work in progress. As am I,” Chad said. EJ told Chad that he was proud to call him his brother. Once alone, EJ told Stefano that he did not know how to say goodbye to him when a part of him could not accept that Stefano was gone. EJ took a pen out of his coat pocket from Rita, and he placed it in the box with the urn.
“I don’t know how many employees would still try and please their boss even after he was gone. That was your gift, wasn’t it? You inspired profound loyalty in so many people,” EJ said. Rolf walked in. “Your father was an inspiration to me in his insatiable appetite for new experiences,” Rolf said. “You inspired him as well. And I want to thank you, Rolf. For what you did to preserve his life,” EJ said. EJ told Rolf that Stefano would be proud of Rolf’s work. “The work that you hired me to do,” Rolf noted. Rolf said that Stefano lived on through his family.
“My last instruction from your father was to give you this when the time was right,” Rolf said. Rolf handed EJ Stefano’s ring. “The torch is now passed on to you. To continue his legacy,” Rolf said. EJ slid the ring onto his finger.

In the DiMera living room, Tony held a toast for Stefano with Chad and Theo as Stefano’s favorite music played. “I think Father would have been pleased,” Tony said. Chad agreed. Tony congratulated Chad on the resolution of his custody case. As Tony started to comment on what Stefano’s response would have been, Chad cautioned Tony not to insult the Hortons. Chad noted that it would be difficult for the kids when Jack and Jennifer left for Boston.
“And then there is Jeremy,” Chad said. Tony and Theo asked what was going on with Thomas’s teacher. Chad explained that Jeremy had been accused of a crime, and he was worried that gossip from parents at the school would upset Thomas. Tony advised Chad to take the kids on vacation so that they could have time alone together. “I think it would do them some good,” Tony said. “Maybe it would,” Chad agreed.

At the penthouse, Belle asked Marlena about Stefano’s memorial service. “There was something cathartic about saying my last farewell to him,” Marlena admitted. Marlena lamented that John had not lived to have his own moment to make peace with Stefano’s death. Brady stopped by to inform Belle and Marlena that he had found an apartment. Marlena asked about Rachel. Brady explained that Kristen was intent on pulling Rachel out of Bayview. Brady said he regretted that he had not sued for full custody after Kristen had gone to prison.
“Maybe you should think about that now,” Belle suggested. “I don’t think I have it in me to go through another custody battle,” Brady said. Marlena argued that Kristen would realize it was best for Rachel to share custody. Brady said he had attempted to convince Kristen of that, but she had disagreed. Belle urged Brady to convince Kristen to let Rachel stay in Bayview, or else it could hurt Rachel’s legal defense.
Belle explained that because her argument was to allow the mental health system to treat Rachel, it undermined her argument if Rachel was no longer being treated voluntarily in the mental health system. “It will also show the judge that you and Kristen are committed to Rachel’s treatment,” Marlena added. “I understand. And I’ll make sure Kristen understands that too,” Brady said.
Brady was about to leave for his new apartment when Kristen rang the doorbell. “Perfect timing for this,” Kristen said. Rachel stepped into the doorway. “Hi, Daddy,” Rachel said. Brady hugged his daughter, and he glared at Kristen.

“Mommy talked to Dr. Gregory, and she said I was ready to come home,” Rachel said. While Rachel went into the kitchen to get a cookie, Brady growled, “I can’t believe you did this.” Kristen argued that Rachel had not belonged in a facility. Belle told Kristen that her actions may have destroyed Rachel’s shot at a lenient sentence from the judge.
Rachel returned, and Brady noted that they would stay at the penthouse until the new apartment was ready. Rachel thanked her mother for bringing her home, then she followed Brady back to her bedroom. “The only thing that matters to me is that my daughter is out of that terrible place,” Kristen told Belle and Marlena.
