What happened on Days of our Lives, February 9th through 13th, 2026, when Rafe arrested Dimitri, Leo stood by his ex, the DiMera family laid Stefano to rest, Stephanie and Alex wed, Kristen forced Brady into an arrangement, Sophia’s actions caused Holly to ruin her chances with the sorority, and Salem residents celebrated Valentine’s Day.

Eli told Rafe that the forensics had confirmed that Dimitri’s fingerprints were all over the room and tablet in Vivian’s house. Dimitri manipulated Leo into agreeing to have dinner with him in the square. Dimitri told Leo that he was hurt that Leo had moved on while he had pined for Leo. Leo admitted that he hated himself for still loving Dimitri. Rafe arrested Dimitri on their date.
Leo talked to Marlena about his conflicted feelings for Dimitri. When Leo admitted that he believed Fimitri was innocent, Marlena cautioned Leo to examine his feelings. Leo argued he was certain that the situation had been engineered by Gwen because it was the only thing that made sense. At the police station, Melinda argued that Dimitri had been framed, but Rafe recounted the evidence against him. The judge released Dimitri on bail with an ankle monitor. As Rafe looked on unapprovingly, Leo took Dimitri home after his release.
Tony, EJ, Chad, Theo, and Kristen said their final goodbyes to Stefano, and they laid him to rest in the crypt. The family talked about Stefano’s love for his kids as well as his manipulative and obsessive traits. After the service, Tony urged Chad to take his kids away for a vacation together to bond now that the custody battle was over. Chad made plans to take the kids to visit Will and Sonny. Julie said goodbye to Jeremy, but hello to Eli, who told her that he and Lani would be moving back to Salem.
Gabi returned Gwen’s $50,000 payment for her New Year’s Eve dress. Gwen informed EJ that Rafe had evidence that Vivian had kidnapped Stefan to keep him away from Gabi. In exchange for the returned money, Gwen promised Gabi that she would talk to Vivian about whether she had kidnapped Stefan. Gwen told EJ about the agreement. Gwen said she did not need to actually talk to Vivian, because the money was rightfully hers.
Rolf delivered Stefano’s ring to EJ, who put it on to signify himself as Stefano's true heir. EJ was furious when he learned that Gwen had framed Dimitri for the kidnappings and let Vivian get away with everything. EJ vowed to get justice. During their chat, Gwen noticed a strange aura about EJ. When Susan saw EJ, she said she saw Stefano’s evil in him.
Alex warned Jeremy to give up on Stephanie or else Jeremy would pay. After Stephanie uploaded a photo of her with Alex and their marriage certificate, she decided she wanted to elope on Valentine’s Day. Stephanie surprised Alex with a small wedding in Chicago.
Brady found a new apartment. When Brady told Marlena and Belle about Kristen’s desire to pull Rachel out of Bayview, Belle warned Brady that doing so could hurt Rachel’s legal case. Kristen checked Rachel out of the facility before Bray could talk to her. Kristen argued that they should enter Rachel into an intensive program and get Marlena to vouch for it. Kristen offered joint custody to Brady if he agreed to let her move in. Brady was forced to agree to the arrangement for one month.
On Valentine’s Day, Johnny and Chanel spent a romantic afternoon together. Chanel asked Johnny to send EJ’s gift back unopened. Johnny hired a woman to give Chanel a prenatal massage while he cooked dinner. Paulina demanded an answer from EJ about the increased use of electricity in the neighborhood around the hospital. Cat fantasized about kissing Chad after he told her he was leaving town. EJ asked Cat to join him for a working dinner on Valentine’s Day.
Julie, Maggie, and Marlena celebrated Galentine’s Day together at the Bistro. Xander took his frustration out on golf balls with a little help from Gwen on his swing. Brady admitted to Sarah that he wished they were together for Valentine’s Day.

Sophia switched out Holly’s skincare supplements with her anti-psychotic medication. When Bayview returned the bottle to Holly, she took one of her pills. The pill made Holly anxious and emotional, and she lashed out at the head of Gamma sorority at the mixer. Holly ran off, and Ari attempted to sway the president of the sorority that Holly was normally a nice person and an asset to the group. When Holly told Tate about the disastrous event, he blamed the stress of all of Holly’s activities. At Bayview, Sophia laughed as she watched videos of Holly making a scene at the Valentine’s sorority mixer.
