On the Friday, July 10, 2026, episode of Days of our Lives, Javi pushed Leo, Stephanie made a bad decision, Alex pitched a major change, and Johnny had a horrible realization.
Dizzy for You

Leo was sitting in the pub when Javi asked he if he was feeling better. Leo said he was fine. Javi gave Leo some advice, and Leo said he was surprised that Javi cared. Javi admitted that he cared, but stressed that it was nothing more because their relationship was in the past.
When Leo winced and complained about a sharp pain, Javi insisted that Leo see a doctor. Leo said he was fine. As Leo stood up, he swooned and grew confused. Javi put an arm around Leo to steady him and helped him sit down. Leo refused to return to the hospital. Javi checked Leo’s pulse and pupils, befoee encouraging him to see a doctor if his headaches got worse. Leo asked Javi to keep him company. Javi accused Leo of faking a dizzy spell, but Leo stressed that his symptoms were real. Javi told Leo to move on.
When Leo said he was over Javi, Javi asked why Leo was still wearing his wedding ring. Javi urged Leo to face reality. Leo insisted that he had accepted that they were over. With a shake of his head, Javi walked out. “I have to accept that it’s over,” Leo whispered. Leo took off his ring.
Regime Change

At Titan, Xander and Philip told Alex about their plan to use Gabi’s money to keep the business afloat. Alex urged the brothers to step aside and let him run the company. Philip argued that their problem was money, not PR. Xander and Philip refused to agree to Alex’s plan, even when Alex reminded them that he ran the most successful division at their company.
Alex argued that the shareholders and investors respected Alex because he was the honest member of the family. Philip countered that Alex had a new daughter and baby momma to focus on. Xander questioned whether Alex was seeking control because he did not have control of his own personal life. Taken aback, Alex yelled, “At least I still have a marriage!” Xander swallowed his anger as Philip urged everyone to calm down.
After Xander left, Philip and Alex apologized about the hurtful things they had said to one another in the heat of the moment. Philip told Alex that Stephanie had vented to him about Joy, and he offered to be an alternate contact for Joy. Alex agreed, but when he reached for his phone, he realized he had left it at home.
Medical Mysteries

At the hospital, Sarah admitted to Brady that she was still upset about how Holly had reacted to her accusation about drug use. Sarah told Brady that the toxicology report had confirmed that Destiny had had Coriseal in her bloodstream at the time of death, but that the blood had tested negative for arsenic.
Brady argued that it was suspicious that both Destiny and Holly had symptoms of arsenic poisoning. Sarah noted that the lab results did not support the argument, but Brady pointed out that if the arsenic was from DiMera Pharmaceuticals, EJ had the motive and opportunity to change the results.
When Xander arrived, Sarah asked if there were any updates about the DiMera files. Xander said Kristen had confirmed that a batch of that level of narcotic would have been strictly accounted for in the records.
Xander argued that there had to be a second set of books, but he did not have access to those through Kristen. Sarah reminded Xander that she supported him pursuing extra legal means of getting the information, short of committing any violence. Sarah argued that justice would be in a court of law.
Arsenic Problems

At Johnny and Chanel’s apartment, Chanel told Johnny that her hair had started to fall out. Johnny told Chanel that he, Lani, and Paulina had gotten her a gift. In the box was a selection of wigs. As Chanel eagerly tried on the wigs, Johnny explained that they were temporary until the wig that Paulina had commissioned was ready. Johnny assured Chanel that she was beautiful with or without hair.
When Brady stopped by the apartment to see Johnny, he explained that he believed that the missing batch of Coriseal pills had been contaminated with arsenic and dumped on Smith Island. Johnny argued that there would have been a recall by the FDA for a tainted batch, but Brady countered that he believed EJ had covered up the issue. Johnny disagreed. When Brady asked about the files, Johnny said everything appeared to be “in order.”
After Brady left Johnny’s apartment, he met up with Steve outside the pub to compare notes. Steve said the hospital surveillance had been a dead end. Brady stopped by the hospital again and updated Sarah and Xander about what Johnny had said. Xander noted that there were missing files and a clear cover up. With a nod, Brady agreed that there was a discrepancy in Johnny’s story. Sarah wondered aloud if Johnny had seen the complete set of files. With a shake of his head, Xander argued that Johnny was protecting EJ.
At Johnny and Chanel’s apartment, Johnny told Chanel that Holly had gotten arsenic poisoning from the cabin’s water well. Chanel reminded Johnny that arsenic was a carcinogen. Chanel pointed out that she had ingested the water at the cabin, and she had had two bouts of cancer since then.
Reaching Out

Stephanie was working at home when Alex’s phone started to ring with a call from Joy. When the voicemail transcription came through, Stephanie glanced at it. The message said that Joy was stranded on the side of the road again, and she asked Alex for help. Stephanie deleted the voicemail.
Steve visited to talk about Stephanie’s therapy session. As Steve started to apologize for his part in Stephanie’s abandonment issues, she assured her father that it was not his fault. Stephanie told Steve that he was her hero. Stephanie reminded Steve that he could not protect her. With tears in his eyes, Steve admitted that he was heartbroken because he had never been able to protect Stephanie. Steve reiterated that she did not blame Steve or Kayla for her issues, and that she was grateful to have two wonderful parents. Stephanie assured Steve that she was feeling better.
Alex returned home as his phone started to ring again. Stephanie guessed that it was Joy calling. Alex answered the call and told Joy he was on his way. With a groan, Stephanie asked Alex when he would wise up to Joy’s games. Alex told Stephanie that Joy had gotten into a car accident with Kelsey. When Stephanie asked if they were okay, Alex said, “As if you care.” Alex walked out.
