On Days of our Lives, for the week of July 13th through 17th, 2026, Lexie warned Kristen, Stephanie acted out, Abe confessed to Theo, Johnny blamed EJ for Chanel’s cancer, Cat plotted, Chad found a clue, Holly was framed, and Gwen was grabbed.
What Happened In Salem This Week
When Kristen arrived at Rachel’s room at Bayview, she was horrified to see her chatting with EJ, who argued that he would never hurt Rachel like Kristen had planned to do with Johnny. Kristen denied the accusation. EJ swore to have his revenge. Kristen asked Marlena to watch over Rachel if anything happened to her.
Kelsey sustained minor bruising from a car accident. Stephanie confessed to Kayla that she had deleted Joy’s email. Stephanie asked Kayla if Joy could have intentionally caused an accident to get attention because she still loved Alex. Kayla advised Stephanie not to let her insecurities damage her marriage. Alex confronted Stephanie about the deleted voicemail and her jealousy. Joy was feeling the after effects of her car crash, and Alex insisted that he stay the night to help with Kelsey.
Abe confessed to Theo about the deal he had made with EJ to push Theo out of DiMera. Upset, Theo walked out and went to a bar to drink alone. A dejected Stephanie joined Theo, and she told him about her issues with Joy. When Alex called to say that he was staying overnight with Joy and Kelsey at the Salem Inn, an upset Stephanie hung up. Theo walked Stephanie home and she invited him to stay on the couch since he wanted to avoid his father.
Alex was annoyed to see Theo on the couch in the morning. Stephanie and Alex had a passive-aggressive fight. Alex told Stephanie that she was pushing them apart because she continued to question his motives. Stephanie stressed that she did not trust Joy, but she trusted Alex. The couple agreed to be more understanding of the emotions of one another.
Bad News For Lexie
Lexie told Marlena that she was dying, but that she had not told her family. Lexie asked Marlena to keep her secret because she had decided to die alone. Lexie told Marlena that she did not regret the time she had spent with her second chance despite its brevity.
EJ found Lexie passed out in the living room. Rita told EJ that Rolf had left town and that Rolf had said the spells were normal and would increase. When EJ told Rita about Kristen’s planned trip with Sydney, he asked Rita to prepare the private island for Kristen to live on. Lexie overheard as she stirred awake.
EJ told Lexie that her loss of consciousness was normal, and it would continue to grow more frequent as her health failed. Lexie had a swooning spell with Abe, but she insisted she was fine. Lexie asked Abe for time alone with her mother, Celeste, and Abe reluctantly agreed to give Lexie space from him.
Lexie attempted to warn Kristen about EJ’s plan to send Kristen to an island, but she passed out first. When Lexie woke up, she told Kristen she was dying and about EJ’s plan. Kristen vowed to stop her brother.
Johnny blamed EJ for causing Chanel’s cancer, but EJ argued that Paulina’s radiation had been far more likely to have injured Chanel than arsenic. EJ advised Johnny to get over his anger because his job required him to deal with unsavory issues. Chanel felt a distance between her and Johnny. When Chanel explained that she was worried that the lack of intimacy was because of her illness, Johnny told her that he was as attracted to her as he ever had been. The two made love.
After Gabi realized that Gwen’s Gabi Chic bag was a knockoff, they looked into the evidence online. Gwen, Gabi, and Leo drank wine and discussed knockoffs. Leo admitted that he could not bear to see Javi with G. Javi admitted to G that he felt sorry for Leo because he was alone.
Stefano's Legacy
Chad and Belle reviewed the slip of paper a stranger had handed them after the Verdi concert. Chad was concerned that someone was actively passing along clues and said he wanted to end the investigation. Belle talked him into continuing. Using the clue, they discovered a Celtic cross on the lire using UV light.
Brady talked to Marlena about his concerns about Kristen’s fight with EJ. Marlena advised Brady to stay out of the fight and he agreed. Brady informed Marlena that he had taken a second sample and sent it to the ISA labs to prove EJ had changed the report. The test confirmed there was no arsenic or Coriseal because Julie had ordered that the well be cleaned.
EJ ran into Cat and Felicity in the square, so Felicity asked if they were dating. After EJ left, Cat thanked Felicity for helping her make EJ believe that Cat was into him. Marlena warned Cat about the Coriseal and EJ’s possible connection to the cover-up.
The money from Stefano’s estate was paid out. When Theo returned home, Abe apologized to him and explained why he had worked with EJ. Theo agreed to move past his anger for the sake of Lexie. Abe told Theo about the estate money. Theo hoped they could use the money to visit Celeste, but Abe broke the news that Lexie wanted to visit Celeste on her own.
All About Holly
Holly asked for a different doctor because she was angry that Sarah did not believe her. When EJ visited to update Holly about the lawsuit, he told her that he believed she was not taking drugs again. Sarah ordered EJ to stay away from Holly. Annoyed, EJ fired Sarah. Kayla intervened and informed EJ that the board had voted to strip him of his ownership rights. Kayla said that EJ had 90 days to divest of the property or the state would force a sale to Gwen.
Xander told Sarah that he believed Holly had not taken drugs and that EJ had altered the report. EJ eavesdropped on the discussion about the second, secret test of the well water. When Xander confronted EJ about his theory on the Coriseal cover-up, EJ denied the accusation. EJ saw Xander leave Holly’s bag at the nurses station. When Tate looked in Holly’s bag later for her, he found a handful of pills inside it.

Tate taught Gwen a new defensive move to block an attack. During Gwen’s workout, Kayla called to tell her that the hospital was for sale. Gwen went to the hospital to gloat to EJ. EJ started to tell Gwen that Rolf’s drug was a bust, but Gwen interrupted him before he could say it. As Gwen walked through the park and made arrangements on her phone to buy the hospital, a masked figured grabbed her from behind.
