Pack and Go

After Ari packed her bags at home, Gus offered to help her take her stuff out to the car. Ari explained that she could not live under the same roof as her mother after Gabi had paid Liam to leave town. With a grin, Ari told Gus that it was clear that he made Javi happy. Gus said he was happy, too. When Ari apologized for the drama, Gus told Ari that he knew Gabi meant well, and he hoped she and Ari could work things out. Ari said she did not know how to forgive Gabi.
Ari went to the pub and asked Roman for a room. Ari told Roman about Gabi’s betrayal, and he said he understood what that felt like.
Slip and Slime

At the bookstore, Thomas and Charlotte picked out books for their Summer trip to Boston with their grandparents. Chad lamented that he would be apart from the kids for a month, but Julie noted that Abigail would have wanted the kids to spend time with their grandparents. Julie reminded Chad that he could keep in touch by video and phone. After the kids collected books, Chad invited Julie to join them at the pub. Julie declined because she had promised Holly that she would visit her at the hospital.
Javi was texting his boyfriend at the bar when Leo walked in and said hello. As the men talked, they both admitted they were getting the soup for Chanel. Leo added that he had bought groceries for the family as well. Javi chuckled as he talked about how much Tesoro had grown. Leo and Javi both expressed a desire to babysit more. Leo suggested that they coordinate their schedules so that they did not overlap for babysitting duty.
Leo asked about work, and Javi said he was off probation. When Leo asked about Gus, Javi noted that Gus was settling in well. Javi stressed that living and working with Gus was also going well. Leo paid for both orders, and Javi left to deliver the soup to Chanel. Leo sat down and looked through photos of him with Javi. As Leo sighed deeply, Chad arrived with the kids. While Chad and Leo chatted about work, Charlotte spilled some slime on the floor. Leo slipped and fell on it when he was walking out of the pub.
Roman called 911, but Leo insisted he was just a little dizzy. The kids apologized to Leo, and he assured them that he understood it had been an accident. As Leo monologued about how hopeful he was that a handsome EMT would tend to him, Gus walked in. While Gus examined Leo, Chad went to the bar, and he asked Roman about Kate. Roman said he loved his wife, but she had hurt his grandson.
Javi was standing at the nurses’ station when Gus returned from his call at the pub. Javi confirmed he had dropped off soup at Chanel’s house and spent time with Trey. Down the hallway, Sarah examined Leo, and she noted her concern that this was his second concussion within a matter of months. Sarah refused to let Leo leave unless a friend picked him up and kept him from sleeping for a few hours.
While Sarah was called away, Leo left his room. Leo was leaving a voicemail for Marlena when he saw Javi and Gus kissing in the hallway. Leo groaned as he swayed. Gus told Leo he was happy to see he was walking, and he told Javi that he had brought Leo in. Leo said he was fine. After Javi left to meet his partner, Gus offered Leo a ride home. Leo declined, and he said a friend was on the way.
Well, well, well

At the hospital, Holly was asleep when Ari walked in. Tate told Ari that there was no change in Holly’s condition. Ari asked what Holly had ingested at the cabin, and Tate confirmed that Holly had not eaten anything that the rest of them had not. When Ari noted that Holly had only had water to drink, Tate’s eyes went wide. Tate pointed out that, unlike the rest of them, Holly had ingested water from the tap.
Down the hallway, Brady delivered dinner to Sarah for her overnight shift. With tears in her eyes, Sarah noted that Holly was not getting better. Brady told Sarah to think about the case like John and focus on the facts. After reviewing the known facts, Sarah noted there was no indication of the source. Tate ran up to them, and he told them his theory about the water at the cabin. Brady left to get a sample of the well water from the island.
Julie visited Holly in the hospital to give her a book and reassure her that she was getting excellent care. Tate interrupted to tell Holly that he believed that the source of her illness was the tap water at the cabin. Julie confirmed that she had had the well tested at the start of summer, and it had been clear. Tate noted that Brady was collecting a sample. Julie left to retrieve a copy of her last well water report.
Sarah told Holly that she was going to order more tests in line with well water contamination while they waited for Brady to return from the island with the sample. While Tate sat with Holly and attempted to cheer her up, Holly’s heart rate raced. Sarah confirmed that Holly had an irregular heartbeat, and she ordered medication for it. Tate talked to Holly about their plans.
On the island, Brady collected a sample from the kitchen sink. Outside the cabin, someone watched Brady through the window. Brady rushed back to the hospital, and he gave the sample to Sarah for testing.
