Here is your Days of our Lives recap for Tuesday, March 17, 2026, when Holly fought with Ari, Philip met Gwen, Sarah second-guessed Xander, and Dimitri’s actions put Leo in danger.
What happened on Days of our Lives

In the Hernandez kitchen, Gabi told Ari that Javi was heartbroken about Leo. “In my opinion, I think we’re all better off if Leo and Dimitri just live unhappily ever after,” Ari said. Gabi changed the subject to Ari. Gabi told Ari that she was proud of her for getting into the sorority. Ari admitted that she felt like an imposter because the sorority was so impressed with her connection to Gabi Chic.
“Maybe you’re just an amazing young woman in your own right,” Gabi said. With a sigh, Ari said that it felt weird to join the sorority when Holly had been rejected. Gabi asked Ari if Holly was jealous. “I mean, honestly, she’s been a total bitch to me lately,” Ari said.

Holly and Maggie visited Victoria and Sarah at the hospital. “Is everything all right, honey?” Maggie asked Holly. Holly said she was disappointed because she had not gotten into the sorority. Maggie left to check on Jeremy. Holly told Sarah that her pregnancy test had been negative.
“But I still don’t really feel like myself,” Holly said. Sarah encouraged Holly to talk to her doctor about a different birth control medication. “And these skin supplements, do you know what’s in them?” Sarah asked. Holly handed the bottle to Sarah. Sarah stressed that supplements were not regulated by the FDA.
“I’ve been taking these since high school. So I would have known if I had a bad reaction to them,” Holly said. “Unless they changed their formula,” Sarah said. Holly was reluctant to stop taking the vitamins, but Sarah urged Holly to take a short break to see her reaction. “I’ll think about it,” Holly said. Maggie returned, and Holly hugged her goodbye on her way out.
“So how is she?” Maggie asked. “Not pregnant,” Sarah countered. Maggie breathed a sigh of relief. Maggie said she had apologized to Jeremy, and she believed that Jeremy would stay in town. Maggie looked around the room at all the stuffed animals. Sarah noted they were from Xander. Sarah explained that she still felt Xander’s anger bubbling below the surface, and she told Maggie about their fight.
Sarah admitted that she was second-guessing her decision to offer Xander visitation with Victoria, because she still felt like Xander was the same man who had beaten up Philip. Maggie told Sarah she supported her decision. With a sigh, Sarah said she still felt it was the right decision to give Xander visitation.

At the penthouse, Marlena talked to Kayla on the phone about Stephanie. Marlena offered to talk to Stephanie. Rachel walked in with freshly baked cookies, and Marlena told her about Stephanie’s return. Marlena suggested that they give Stephanie time to recover before they visited. Marlena told Rachel that Jeremy was innocent.
“Guess he’s not so bad after all,” Rachel said. Marlena asked Rachel how she felt about going to court to testify to her mother’s innocence in EJ’s shooting. Rachel admitted she was scared. “I know I need to tell the truth, but I’m not going to go to jail for shooting Uncle EJ, am I?” Rachel asked. Marlena assured Rachel that she would not go to jail. Confused, Rachel asked why her mother had falsely confessed if everyone was telling Rachel that nothing bad would happen when she told the truth. Marlena looked away.
“Because no one is really sure that I won’t be sent away. Are they?” Rachel asked. Marlena assured Rachel that EJ would tell the judge that the shooting had been an accident. “[EJ] loves you so much. And he doesn’t want anything to happen to you. And he knows you would never, ever hurt him,” Marlena said. Marlena promised that nothing bad would happen to Rachel.
As Marlena noted that Rachel’s cookies were undercooked, Rachel pinched her. Startled, Marlena asked Rachel why she had done that. Rachel explained that it was St. Patrick’s Day, and Marlena was not wearing any green. “We don’t pinch somebody for any reason at all,” Marlena said. Rachel apologized. While Marlena was in the kitchen, Rachel retrieved the mail. Rachel hid the package from Sophia in her backpack.

In the square, Gwen sat in the cafe and left a voicemail for EJ. “I heard you were arrested for Stephanie’s kidnapping and that they found the bloody pod at the hospital, empty. So where the hell is she?” Gwen hissed. As Philip leaned in close, Gwen was startled and dropped her cocktail. Philip apologized. Philip admitted that although he had not heard what Gwen had been talking about, he advised her not to talk about anything secretive in the town square.
After Philip bought Gwen another drink, he and Gwen formally introduced themselves to one another. Gwen warned Philip that she was in a bad mood, and she asked him to leave. Gabi walked into the square, and she asked if Gwen and Philip knew one another. “Just met,” Gwen muttered. Gwen wished Gabi luck.
Philip was surprised that Gabi was friends with Gwen. Gabi explained that they both understood what it was like to be a town pariah. Philip said he knew how that felt, too. Gabi asked about Stephanie, and Philip admitted that he had wanted to give Stephanie some time to recover before he visited her. Philip said that Jeremy had turned down the reward and that he was relieved that they would have the money available for the loan payment. “I really don’t know if we’re going to pull this off,” Philip confessed. Philip told Gabi that Titan’s troubles were his fault.

When Holly returned to her dorm room, she thanked Ari for letting her and Tate have the room for the night. Holly apologized for her behavior toward Ari. She explained that Sarah had suggested she change medications. “That makes sense,” Ari said. Holly asked Ari if she wanted to go to the party. Ari admitted she had plans that night. “Like the Gamma Gamma party?” Holly asked. Ari said yes. Holly’s demeanor changed.
Ari reminded Holly that she had encouraged her to join the sorority. “I was just being nice to you. I didn’t think you would actually join. Not after I was rejected,” Holly said. Holly told Ari that if she had cared about other people’s feelings, she would have realized that Holly did not want her to join.
“Doing what is right for me does not mean that I don’t care about your feelings. And how dare you call me insensitive? I have been walking on eggshells for weeks [because you are] constantly snapping at me,” Ari said. Holly grew more defensive. “I expected a little more loyalty from you, especially after how they treated me,” Holly argued. “Holly, you were acting like a crazy person,” Ari countered. Ari reminded Holly of her recent actions.
When Holly asked Ari why she wanted to hang out with mean girls instead of her actual friend, Ari countered that Holly had not been acting like a friend at all. Ari said she wanted to unfriend her. “I cannot keep showing up for someone who won’t show up for me or support my choices,” Ari said. Ari argued that one of them needed to move out. An emotional Holly said she would move out.

In Leo and Dimitri’s Alamainian hotel, Dimitri gasped. “I found the house I was looking for,” Dimitri said. Dimitri showed Leo a real estate listing online that had pictures of the house he had been held in. Leo asked Dimitri if he was okay. “It’s just weird remembering what it was like to be trapped there and how hard I fought to get out of there to get back to you,” Dimitri said. Leo turned away.
Dimitri told Leo that he was not saying that to make a move on Leo. Leo explained that he was attempting to process his emotions. “You miss him,” Dimitri whispered. “I miss him every second of every day. But what’s done is done. Javi wants nothing to do with me, which means you and I are back to square one,” Leo admitted.
“Does that mean we get to go back to the way things were?” Dimitri asked. Leo argued they needed to clear Dimitri’s name first. Dimitri called Andrew and talked him into searching the house for evidence connecting Dimitri to Peter Blake. Leo marveled that Andrew had taken Dimitri’s call.
“Andrew has this terrible compulsion to do the right thing, which makes him a lot more predictable than people like us,” Dimitri said. Leo agreed that it was ironic if Andrew and Paul were the ones to prove Dimitri’s innocence. Dimitri noted that the fact that Gwen had left a receipt behind at Vivian’s house was proof that she had been sloppy.
“What is your plan once you do prove your innocence?” Leo asked. Dimitri said he planned to go back to Salem. “There is something that I want in Salem. Desperately. And I'm not willing to give it up without a fight,” Dimitri said. As Leo started to speak, Dimitri interrupted to stress that this was about Gwen, not Leo. “I want to divorce her. And I want to make sure that she doesn't get a cent. I want to punish her. I want to make sure that she pays for what she did to me,” Dimitri said.
In the DiMera mansion living room, Gwen received a call from an informant about the ISA’s search of the house that Dimitri had been held in. Gwen ordered the person to stop the investigation. In Dimitri and Leo’s hotel in Alamainia, a red beam of light flashed through the window. Dimitri tackled Leo to the ground as the window shattered.
