Here is what happened on Days of our Lives the week of March 2nd through March 6th, 2026, when Kate made plans to sue DiMera, Xander and Sarah agreed to shared custody after a scare, Holly struggled to find a cause for her emotional outbursts, Sophia attempted to blackmail Melinda, Stephanie attempted to appeal to Owen, and EJ revealed the identity of Rolf’s patient to Paulina.

Kate and Xander moved ahead in their plan to attack DiMera with a plagiarism lawsuit over Bonnie’s book. Kate used outside counsel to work up the details so that there was no connection to Titan. When Xander asked about family blowback, Kate noted that no one knew she had read Bonnie’s book. Kate said she believed that Johnny and Theo would be fine, but they needed to move ahead to preserve the future of Titan.
Theo took back control of DiMera from Johnny. As they reviewed the state of the company, Theo asked Johnny if he wanted to stay on at the company. Johnny declined the offer. Johnny and Chanel learned that although she did not have a molar pregnancy, she still had a small risk of cancer.
Concerned about Holly’s symptoms, Sarah asked Holly if she could be pregnant. Holly told Tate. The couple bought a pregnancy test, but it was negative. Worried about her symptoms, Holly agreed to talk to a counselor.
Sophia ordered Melinda to either help her remove her baby from Johnny and Chanel, or she would report Melinda to the bar. Melinda refused. Sophia asked Melinda to deliver a package to Rachel instead, which Melinda reluctantly mailed. Sophia called Rachel about the package, but Rachel was still resistant to giving the vitamins to Holly. Sophia encouraged Rachel to slip the bottle of vitamins into Holly’s purse.
Xander told Marlena that he realized that he wanted to be a better person for his daughter, and that he no longer saw a future with Sarah. Xander said that to let go of his anger, he needed to let Sarah go. Xander said he wanted to be the best version of himself. Marlena worried that Xander was getting more dangerous.
Victoria had pneumonia, and Sarah called Xander to meet her at the hospital. After seeing Xander interact with Victoria, Sarah realized that she could not keep them apart any longer. Sarah offered Xander joint custody with no strings attached about their personal lives. Xander and Sarah gave Melinda instructions to draw up the paperwork. When Brady arrived at the hospital to comfort Sarah, Xander left the room without objection.
Justin comforted an exhausted and emotional Alex. Alex confided that he had had a dream where Adrienne had told him that everything would be fine. Alex agreed, and he told Alex to have faith in a happy ending. Philip told Gabi about how Stephanie had been kidnapped before by Owen. Maggie kept Julie company on her birthday since neither of them could sleep. Julie was upset that she had been wrong about Jeremy.
While Steve and Jada reviewed the tips from the hotline, Chad called Steve to tell him that Thomas had found Stephanie’s phone at school and given it to Jeremy. Steve realized that it was likely that Jeremy was not the kidnapper and that the phone had been planted at the school to frame Jeremy. Jada was unsure. After a second review of the Halloween footage of the square, Jada noticed that although the attacker had been dressed like Jeremy, they had been wearing a mask.
While Owen worked with Rolf on his resurrection experiment, he secretly held Stephanie and Jeremy in a storeroom down the hallway from the secret lab. Jeremy told Stephanie how he had found her phone and tracked her down after he spotted Owen in the square. Owen planned to use the cryogenic pod to smuggle Stephanie out of Salem once Rolf revived the occupant. While on watch, Owen fantasized that Stephanie gave him advice on how to kill Jeremy and woo her.
EJ and Gwen visited Rolf in the lab to discuss the progress of Rolf’s patient. Stephanie and Jeremy heard them talking, but they did not hear Stephanie and Jeremy screaming through the gags that were around their mouths.
Stephanie attempted to appeal to Owen’s delusions about her. Stephanie told Owen that she had dreamed of him, and it had made her discover feelings about him that she had not realized before. Distracted, Owen forgot to regag his captives before he rushed off to alert Rolf about the patient in the lab. Stephanie talked Jeremy through how to dislocate his thumb to escape the handcuffs, but he failed. When Rolf arrived at the lab, he confirmed that the patient had returned to life.
EJ admitted to Cat that he had doubled the reward to find Stephanie to help with his PR. EJ told Cat that he trusted her more than anyone else in his life. EJ asked Cat to supervise the city inspectors in the lab. After EJ asked Cat out to dinner as a thank you, Paulina confronted EJ about the power issue before they could go.

EJ promised to show Paulina the lab, but he sent Cat home first. Cat called Rafe to tell him about the incident, and they agreed that they needed to get into the lab themselves. EJ texted Rolf, and then he escorted Paulina to the lab. Paulina was shocked to see Lexie in the cryogenic tube and that she was alive!
