Here is what happened on Days of our Lives the week of March 9th through 13th, 2026, Dimitri found evidence, Paulina agreed to keep Lexie a secret, Chanel told Johnny he could keep his father in his life, Sarah questioned her decision to grant joint custody, Owen was caught, EJ told Rolf to get rid of any evidenceof a kidnapping, and Alex found Jeremy with Stephanie.

Javi called Leo, and they talked about how much they missed one another. As Leo talked, Javi overheard Dimitri in the background. Javi called Leo a liar and hung up. Leo got so upset about the possibility that he had lost Javi that Dimitri argued that Leo should let him handle the investigation alone. Leo refused to walk away. Leo dressed as a woman to stand at Stefan’s grave and watch for Vivian and Ivan. Meanwhile, Dimitri searched Vivian’s house for evidence to prove his innocence. Dimitri found a delivery receipt that contained an address from his list of places where he could have been held captive.
Gwen asked Melinda to be her divorce attorney, but Melinda refused to drop Dimitri as a client. Gabi asked Melinda for advice about whether her divorce was legal. Melinda told Gabi there was likely no way to prove that Stefan’s signature was not legal.
EJ told Paulina that Rolf had cured Lexie. EJ promised that Lexie would wake up, but Paulina was concerned about whether she would be the same person. EJ told Paulina that she could pull the plug, but she would be killing the love of Abe’s life. Paulina called it the work of the devil.
EJ told Gwen that Paulina knew about Lexie. Gwen was shocked when EJ said he was willing to let Lexie die because the work was more important. Paulina struggled with whether to tell Abe about Lexie. Paulina consulted with Chanel, who advised her to follow her conscience. Paulina told EJ that he could continue his work. EJ asked Paulina to keep quiet so that she would not give Abe false hope.
Abe talked to Roman about Lexie and how she would feel about Theo. Abe said he was thankful that Paulina had helped heal his heartache after losing Lexie. Theo ran into Gabi in the square, and they had beers together. When Theo returned home, he noticed that Paulina was upset. Paulina did not tell Theo about Lexie, but she did admit that she was struggling with a decision.
EJ set up a meeting with Johnny under pretenses. EJ noticed Trey’s silver cup. Johnny said he had not returned the gift because he had not wanted to hurt his father’s feelings. EJ told Johnny that he would love him no matter how Johnny felt. Chanel said she understood why Johnny had kept the silver cup from her. Chanel told Johnny she did not want to keep Johnny away from his father, and she agreed to keep the gift.
Brady delivered coffee and breakfast to Sarah at the hospital, but he left when he saw Sarah and Xander leaning on one another as they slept in front of Victoria’s hospital crib. After Kayla woke Xander and Sarah, they had an awkward moment together and fought. Sarah warned Xander not to give her a reason to cancel the shared custody agreement.
Owen freaked out when he found Stephanie and Jeremy holding hands. When Owen attempted to strangle Jeremy, Stephanie distracted Owen to stop him. Owen uncuffed Stephanie to help her stretch. Owen kissed Stephanie, and she pretended to be into it while she slipped the phone out of his pocket and dialed 911. Stephanie screamed for help. Worried that the police would be on their way, Owen announced that his plan was over. Owen walked out, quit his job, and left Jeremy and Stephanie tied up in the storeroom.
Rolf heard Jeremy screaming. When Rolf opened the door, Stephanie and Jeremy begged for help. Rolf placed the gags back in, and he promised to return. Rolf told EJ, who ordered Rolf to make Stephanie and Jeremy disappear. Jeremy managed to free one hand, then Stephanie gave him a bobby pin to pick the lock on the handcuffs. Before Jeremy could unlock the door to the room, an exhausted Stephanie collapsed in his arms.
The police used the 911 call to pinpoint that Stephanie was in the hospital. Paulina told EJ that the police were searching the hospital again. EJ assured Paulina that they would not find Lexie. Paulina waited with Kayla as the police continued their search.
Steve told Brady about the new evidence that supported the theory that Jeremy was not the kidnapper. While they rattled off a list of people from Stephanie’s past that might also be suspects, Brady remembered Owen. After police showed Owen’s face around town, a witness confirmed that Owen had been living at a hotel. Brady suggested to Steve that they should search his family's mortuary, and they captured Owen there.
Jada told Steve about the 911 call from Stephanie. Rafe tracked the call to the hospital. Rafe argued to Steve that they should ask Cat for help. Cat correctly guessed the code to the lab. Although no one was there, Cat realized that the room dimensions were off. Rafe sent Cat to distract EJ so that he could search the lab for a false wall. Cat asked EJ if he was behind the kidnapping, and he said no. Cat kissed EJ.

Rafe used the blueprints to identify the entry point to the hidden lab, and Alex helped him open the doorway. Rafe found the cryo pod in the lab. Alex went on to search the other room armed with a scalpel. Alex opened the door to the storeroom, and he saw Jeremy sitting on the floor with his arms wrapped around an unconscious Stephanie.
