Here's your Days of our Lives recap for the week of Monday, November 17 to Friday, November 21, 2025, as Rachel's memory returns, Sarah suffers a shock, and Marlena recovers.
What happened on Days of our Lives

Tony and Kristen were locked up in the DiMera crypt together. Kristen argued that EJ was behind their abductions, but Tony disagreed. Kristen said that if Theo were the next captive, it would prove her argument.
Javi asked Gabi if she had anything to do with Tony’s abduction. Gabi said no. Rafe told Gabi about Kristen’s disappearance. Gabi asked about Tony, but Rafe refused to comment on an open investigation. Gabi talked to Rafe about his love life. Rafe confirmed that his relationship with Sami was definitely over.
Sarah noticed a rash on Marlena's wrist, and she guessed Marlena could have Lyme disease despite having tested negative. When Sarah explained that the test could have had a false negative due to being understaffed, Belle tore into EJ for his budget cuts. Kayla treated Marlena for the infection. Susan yelled at EJ when she learned that his penny-pinching had nearly cost Marlena her life.
Gabi ran into Chad, and she suggested he use a dating app to prove to Jennifer that he was moving on from Cat. Leo caught Chad working on a profile, and he helped Chad work on it. Jeremy advised Chad to take a couple of days away from the family.
Justin warned Jennifer that a custody suit could hurt her family. Jennifer was adamant that Chad had changed and did not put his child’s needs first. Justin stressed that Chad had the stronger case. Jennifer told Chad she had filed for custody of his kids. Chad packed a bag and checked into the Salem Inn.
Jada and Theo matched on a dating app, and they had their first date at the bookstore. Despite a rough start, the date went well. Jada kissed Theo’s cheek, and they agreed to a second date.
EJ informed Brady that Kristen was missing. Brady accused Xander of using Marlena as an excuse to talk to Rachel on Kristen’s behalf. Xander said he had not heard about Kristen’s escape, and he was not helping her. When Xander talked about how he was striving to be a better man, Brady admitted that Sarah had confided in him. Jealous, Xander accused Brady of going after Sarah. Brady said no, but Xander's anger proved that he had not changed.
Xander took Brady’s advice and signed the divorce papers. Xander promised Sarah he would continue to work to be a better man. Xander told Sarah that he wanted her to be happy and live her life, but that he would never love anyone as much as her.
Stephanie and Alex ordered food delivery for dinner. While the food was sitting in the hallway before Stephanie grabbed it, a mysterious person dumped a liquid into Alex’s drink. When Alex sipped his drink, he noted that it tasted funny, and he set it aside.
Lucas, Rafe, and EJ went to the Brady Pub at the same time. Lucas and Rafe talked about Sami. Both admitted that Sami was the one who had gotten away, and they toasted to her. EJ chimed in from the bar, but he quietly joined the toast to Sami only after the other two men had left. EJ ran into Johnny with Trey outside the pub. EJ asked to look at his grandson, and Johnny reluctantly allowed EJ a moment with Trey. EJ appealed to Johnny as a father to understand that he would do anything for his son.
Cat stopped a mugger. When Abe arrived on the scene, he realized it was his reading student, Liam. Liam explained that he was struggling to feed his family. Abe gave Liam money to help him, and he encouraged Liam to strive to do better.
Belle and Shawn talked about their lives when they ran into one another at the hospital. As Belle lamented her poor choice in men, she clarified that Shawn was the only exception. Chanel struggled with exhaustion as a new mom. Paulina advised Chanel to take maternity leave. Gabi told Ari about the regrets from her teen pregnancy, and she encouraged Ari to visit Sophia. Aaron and Ari visited Sophia at Bayview, and they told her the baby had been adopted and was safe.
Kayla was annoyed to learn that EJ had hired Mark Greene at the clinic. EJ promised that Mark was working on research in a private capacity and that he would not interact with patients. Dr. Rolf injected the frozen corpse of a DiMera family member with Versavix.
Cat told Rafe that she had caught Leo attempting to break into the clinic, and it had kept her from snooping. Cat also told Rafe about her recovered memories of being at the same rehab facility as EJ in Italy. Rafe urged Cat to avoid romance with EJ if she planned to use the information to get closer to him. EJ remembered hearing Cat’s voice read “Wuthering Heights” to him.
Rachel asked Brady if he was in love with Sarah. Brady stressed they were only friends. Rachel looked into Sarah’s past, and she learned about her kidnapping Rachel as a baby, and that Sarah was allergic to pistachios. When Brady and Rachel ran into Sarah at the pub, Rachel snuck a spoonful of pistachio ice cream into Sarah’s sundae. Rachel confronted Sarah about the kidnapping. Sarah explained what had happened, and Rachel calmed. Sarah took a bite of her ice cream as Rachel attempted to stop her. Sarah went into anaphylactic shock. Overwhelmed, Rachel remembered that she was the one who had shot EJ.
