Here's your Days of our Lives recap for the week of November 3rd through 7th, 2025, when Alex took a hit, Rachel suffered consequences, Tesoro was adopted, Gabi made a confession, an old nemesis returned, and Thomas ran into danger.
What happened on Days of our Lives
As a figure raised a carving knife near Alex, Alex spotted a flying pumpkin. Alex yelled a warning to Chad and Cat, but he was knocked out by the pumpkin when he jumped in the way. Alex was okay, but he noticed later that his jacket had been sliced open. Chad realized that Thomas and Rachel were to blame, but they claimed it had been an accident. Alex blamed Jeremy for the pumpkin. Susan warned Stephanie and Alex that her prediction about Stephanie’s murder mystery would still come true.
As part of Rachel’s punishment for the pumpkin incident, Brady canceled her visit with Kristen. Rachel was furious, but Brady told Sarah that he felt like it was the only way for Rachel to learn a lesson. Sarah managed to cheer Rachel up.
After Aaron signed away his rights to Tesoro, he told Tate about it. When the two went to the square to enjoy Halloween, they ran into Ari and Holly. Ari was emotional over the news about Tesoro’s adoption, but Aaron comforted her. Holly and Tate agreed that they wanted to date, but they wanted to have lives outside of one another.
Xander confessed to Philip that he would not pursue Sarah until he was certain that he was an honorable man that could control his anger. When Xander said he did not want to hurt Victoria like Victor had hurt him, Philip told Xander that he knew that Xander was a good father to his daughter. Philip told Xander that he wanted to be a better man too.
Johnny and Chanel formally adopted Tesoro thanks to Aaron’s vocal support. EJ informed the couple that his conversation with Amy may have helped. The Hernandez family and Leo said a tearful goodbye to the baby before they handed him over to his new parents. Chanel told the family that they would always be welcome to see Tesoro. Johnny asked Rafe to be Tesoro’s honorary grandfather. Chanel asked Javi and Leo to be his godparents.
While Paulina and Marlena decorated Johnny and Chanel’s apartment, they talked about Marlena’s wedding anniversary and Abe’s continued anger at Paulina over Theo. Johnny and Chanel announced that the name of the baby was John Paul after John and Paulina. The baby’s nickname was Trey because he was John III.
EJ asked Belle to allow him to announce John’s bequest to the hospital at the gala. When EJ updated Gwen on the gala and the adoption, Gwen accused EJ of working to reunite with Sami. EJ said no, and he warned Gwen to keep her focus on the clinic. Gwen asked EJ if he had made Tony disappear the same way he had helped her make Dimitri disappear. EJ stressed he would never harm Tony. EJ ordered Gwen to guide Leo away from the clinic.
Ari talked to Gabi about Aaron’s reaction to the adoption, and how he had comforted her. Curious, Gabi asked Ari if she was interested in Aaron. Ari stressed that they were friends. Gabi invited Ari to intern at Gabi Chic, but Ari declined. Ari told Gabi that she was proud of her for rescuing her company.
Theo told Gabi that he did not want to relinquish Gabi Chic, and he proposed a new agreement. Gabi refused to give up control again. Theo learned that Tony was still missing. Gabi confessed to Javi about her aborted deal with Tony and that she was dating Philip. Javi advised Gabi to tell Philip how she had helped Tony, but she made Javi swear to keep her secret instead.
Gwen met Leo for lunch, and she asked him to follow up on a lead to find Dimitri. Leo said he was not interested, but Gwen hinted that Dimitri might be in danger. After Gwen promised to pay all expenses and a finder’s fee, Leo agreed to think about the offer. Gwen told EJ she was sending Leo on a wild goose chase after Dimitri to keep him out of town and away from the clinic. Mark started work at the clinic, and he met his new supervisor, Dr. Rolf.

Thomas was slow to cheer up, but Chad assured him that it was okay to make mistakes. Jennifer promised Thomas that Cat was out of their lives forever. After Cat received bad news about her mother, Chad comforted her in the square. Thomas saw them together, and he yelled at Chad for having lied again. As Thomas ran away from Chad and Jennifer, he ran into the street. A car screeched as Chad and Jennifer screamed out in horror.
