Days of our Lives' Gabi has finally found the right man. Philip thinks she can do no wrong and Gabi is determined to keep it that way. Gabi has rarely found such an easy romance. She and Philip mesh together so well with almost no problems between them.
Except there is a major problem. Their entire relationship is based on deceit. The only reason Gabi ever showed a romantic interest in Philip to begin with was so she could get information for Tony. Gabi then got more than she needed to blow up the Titan-DiMera merger for good, but by then, she was in too deep and had fallen for Philip. Now, she needs her secret to stay buried.
Days of our Lives' Gabi got herself into a pickle

All Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) wanted was the DiMera CEO position, but what she got was a man who thinks she walks on water. Gabi gave Tony (Thaao Penghlis) what he wanted before turning around and giving the job to Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews). An angry Gabi ended up telling Theo that she gave Tony the evidence that destroyed the Titan takeover of the family company when she planted a pen with a listening device in Xander's (Paul Telfer) and Philip's (John-Paul Lavoisier) office.
That's when she learned that Philip and Vivian (Louise Sorel) had passed a fake letter from Victor (the late John Aniston) off as the real deal. Philip wasn't the Kiriakis heir after all. The company belonged to Xander fair and square. Xander already knew the truth, but he and Philip had chosen to deceive the public and the shareholders. That was enough leverage for Tony to get Xander to hand DiMera Enterprises back to its rightful owner.
In the end, Gabi became the sole owner of Gabi Chic once again and embarked on a real romance with Philip. She begged Theo to never tell Philip the truth, and he agreed. However, Gabi is now starting to feel guilty as she watches Philip strive to keep his family company afloat. She wants to tell him the truth, but fears losing the good thing he's got going.
What Gabi does not realize is that Theo can't stop thinking of her (and her cleavage). Theo seems to have developed a bit of the DiMera manipulative streak of late. He might decide to tell Philip what he knows in an effort to end Gabi's romance so he can have her for himself.
What if Philip surprises everyone?

Gabi thinks the truth will ruin the good thing she's got going with Philip, but what if it just makes everything better? Philip knows he's no saint and also knows he is the reason things went haywire to begin with.
If Philip hadn't conspired with Vivian to take over Titan, none of this would have happened. Xander wouldn't have beaten him to within an inch of his life (we are not saying that was Philip's fault; that was Xander's choice). Xander and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) would still be together. And Titan wouldn't be on the verge of collapse. Philip knows his part in all of this, which was one of the reasons he chose not to press charges against Xander.
Philip also knows that he and Gabi were not as heavily involved when she placed that pen on Xander's desk. Yes, she used him as a means to an end, but he can tell her feelings are now real. With all the dirty, rotten things Philip has done in his life, he may feel like a hypocrite if he dumps Gabi when he learns the truth.
That would be the last thing that Gabi would expect and the last thing fans would expect, which is why a forgiving Philip could work. Then, he and Gabi could have a clean slate and Theo could find a woman who only has eyes for someone else.
