Why do so many grown adults on soap operas live in either hotels, mansions, or with their parents? That is an age-old question that may never be answered, but Brady Black broke free of that mold. After he angrily moved out of Marlena's place, he moved into the Kiriakis mansion, because why not go from one family home to another? Surprisingly, he realized how ridiculous he was being as a man in his 40s, so he decided to get his own apartment for himself and his kids. However, Philip refuses to do the same. He has been living at the Salem Inn for nearly a year, but is also enjoying his time as Gabi's new boyfriend. He hated that they were always in such a cramped space and also wanted to make things official by moving in together. So, what did Philip decide to do? Well, move himself and Gabi into the family mansion instead. Do these rich people have an issue with paying rent when they can so easily afford it? Is Philip going to even pay Maggie rent, considering she is about to be underwater on her mortgage? The more people who move from hotels to family homes, the more annoying it gets. Philip just seems like as much of a manchild as Brady did a few months ago and it's not a good look.
