Welcome to Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on Days of our Lives
We wondered why Days of our Lives made sure to tell us that Chad and Belle had matched on the very local Salem Singles dating app when we knew that Billy Flynn wasn't long for the soap. And now, with Chad leaving town following a farewell tour throughout Salem, we wonder even more. Having Chad stop by Belle's place to bring her a Valentine's gift when they've barely shared scenes together since 2017 was a choice. Sure, they matched. But matching doesn't mean you actually have to progress to a date. Just ask any single person on a dating app in 2026. When he then asked her out to dinner on the romantic day of the year, it was even more odd. Are we now to think that Belle is indeed Chad's latest love interest and that the character now has to wait until Chad returns from Arizona? Chad claims he is only leaving for a few weeks, but most people don't make such a big deal when they are only leaving for a fun vacation in the sun with their kids. Chad's entire farewell tour has been way over-the-top and we expect more on Tuesday, but stopping by to see Belle was not at all what we expected. However, it could be a sign of what's to come if Belle just sits tight while Chad enjoys his break.
