DAYS' Abe Drops a Bomb on Theo, Desperate EJ Pleads With Johnny

Days of our Lives' Carver family is in for more shock and heartache and Tuesday doesn't even bring the half of it. According to spoilers for July 14, 2026, Abe lets Theo in on a secret, EJ begs Johnny, and Chanel and Paulina lament their lives.

Seeing how angry Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) was about being kept in the dark over Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) being responsible for Lexie's (Nikki Crawford) brain tumor, Abe (James Reynolds) doesn't want any more secrets between them so he decides its time to tell Theo the truth.

He conspired with EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) to get Theo to walk away from the DiMera Enterprises CEO position. Abe was sure that Lexie wouldn't want him to work for the family company, but it turned how that he was wrong.

Theo is furious that his father went behind his back like that. This also may not have been the right time for Abe to reveal anything more. Hadn't Theo had enough shock for one day? Theo runs off to process what he has just learned and ends up at Small Bar, where thing take quite an interesting turn.

EJ has way too many fires to put out. He has upset Theo, Lexie is in bad shape and nearing the end of her life for the second time, and he has a Coriseal mess to clean up. The last part is becoming more difficult by the day.

EJ managed to save Holly (Ashley Puzemis) by using Johnny (Carson Boatman), who was furious that EJ's main concern was a cover up. Now, he wants to use Johnny again for another cover up. The doctors can never know how Coriseal got into Holly's system. Johnny is not about to do more of his father's dirty work, but he also may not have a choice in the matter.

Chanel (Raven Bowens) can tell that there is something off with Johnny. Between his stress and the news about the Horton Cabin well water, Chanel doesn't know what to think. Did that water give her cancer twice?

When Paulina (Jackee Harry) drops by, mother and daughter lament their marital woes. Paulina's marital woe is that her marriage will soon be as if it never happened.
