Alamanian Adventures
Gwen (Emily O'Brien) is finally back from Alamania and agrees to a deal with Rafe (Galen Gering), but Leo (Greg Rikaart) is still there with a delusional Dimitri (Peter Porte), who thinks that Italian suits and fancy food will make Leo want to stay.
Leo finally has a moment of truth with Dimitri and asks him if he really wants to be with someone who has absolutely no desire to be with him. Dimitri realizes he has to let Leo go.
Back in Salem, Tate (Leo Howard) seems happier to see Gwen than anyone else, but she finally shares a tender reunion with "Matty" at the Salem Inn. Leo's return also has Gus (Michael Ocampo) asking quite a few questions of Javi (Jacob Martinez) regarding his feelings for Leo.
Sad Goodbyes (Again)
After finding Lexie (Nikki Crawford) in her DiMera tunnels bedroom, Abe (James Reynolds) and Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) rush her to Salem University, where she is to live her last days. This was the last thing Lexie had wanted. Her loved ones were already forced to say goodbye to her years ago. It seems like a cruel joke, knowing they are going to have to go through it all over again just because EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) couldn't leave well enough alone.
As Abe and Theo pray for more time with Lexie, new life is beginning elsewhere in the hospital.
Chanel's Special Delivery
Chanel (Raven Bowens) thought she had three weeks to nest, but her baby has other ideas. Paulina (Jackee Harry) and Johnny (Carson Boatman) get Chanel to the hospital, where Kayla confirms that she is definitely in labor. Lani (Sal Stowers) and Paulina rush to Chanel's side, but someone has to take care of Trey, so Paulina leaves for babysitting duty.

While out and about with Trey, Paulina runs into Aaron (Louis Tomeo), who spends some time holding his biological son. But back at the hospital, things get dicey for Chanel...and Lexie.
