DAYS Hot Plots August 24 to 28: Care and Comfort, Saving Titan, and EJ Under Fire

Days of our Lives deals with life-and-death situations this week, as well as walls closing in. According to the latest hot plots for August 24 to 28, 2026, Stephanie is tired of her marital problems, Xander needs comfort, and EJ is up to his ears in trouble.

Among Friends

Poor Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) is mourning the death of his mother for the second time. With Roman (Josh Taylor) comforting Abe (James Reynolds) through the loss, Theo also needs someone to turn to and his sister is too busy celebrating the arrival of Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel's (Raven Bowens) new baby.

Meanwhile, Stephanie (Abigail Klein) is tired of Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) always needing Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Alex always running. This week, Stephanie and Theo are there for each other again, as they have been multiple times over the last few weeks.

They have no idea how badly Alex feels about the whole thing. He wants to make things up to Stephanie, so he enlists Bonnie (Judi Evans) to babysit Kelsey and plans a special day for his wife.

The Race to Save Titan

Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) is all in on that poker game, but Xander (Paul Telfer) is the one who is a mess. When Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) makes his pitch to his brother, will that make Xander even more of a mess? Xander takes risks, but he is not a compulsive gambler like his brother.

By the end of the week, Sarah has to comfort Xander. Does that mean Philip screwed up and they definitely have to sell the house? What does Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) comforting Xander mean for her and Brady (Eric Martsolf) now that they have affirmed and then reaffirmed their alleged love for one another?

EJ's Machinations

EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) gets back to the business of covering up his coriseal mess now that Lexie (Nikki Crawford) is gone again and his new granddaughter is here. That includes having it out with the head of DiMera Pharmaceuticals.

EJ also has it out with Dr. Rolf (Richard Wharton), who he partly blames for what happened with Lexie because he can't very well blame himself, can he? When Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) tries to get answers out of EJ, she comes up short. Is that why Cat goes under hypnosis once again? Does she remember something about that chess set since Marlena (Deidre Hall) is pulled into that mess this week?
