Days of our Lives offers heartache, intrigue, and fury this coming week. The hottest plots for July 20 to 24, 2026, include two DiMeras saying farewell, Holly furious at her family, and Leo making a fascinating discovery.
Sisters Unite

Lexie (Nikki Crawford) and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) are in dire straits, but they know just what to do. They have to leave town together. Lexie doesn't want her family to see her die again, while Kristen wants EJ (Daniel Feuerreigel) to stop targeting Rachel. She also doesn't want to be held captive on DiMera Island.
To that end, Lexie says her goodbyes with an impromptu wedding ceremony with Abe (James Reynolds), where they take their vows and exchange rings once again. Kristen heads for Bayview to say goodbye to Rachel (Lorelei Mote). She tells the little girl that she is the light of her life and that she only wants what's best for her. Will the sisters make it out of town before EJ catches them?
Where's Gwen?

When Friday's episode ended, Gwen (Emily O'Brien) was grabbed by a masked assailant as she strolled through the park and tried to make arrangements to buy the hospital. This week, Leo (Greg Rikaart) notices that his bestie is gone when he sees that her bed was never unmade from the night before.
Leo knows something is up, so he embarks on a quest to find his BFF. Leo teams up with Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) to find Gwen and also confides his troubles in Marlena (Deidre Hall). She also offers to help Leo.
Gwen's disappearance has EJ's (Daniel Feuerreigel) stink all over it, as Xander would say. Is he trying to keep her from buying the hospital or does Gwen have another enemy out there?
Accusations Fly

And finally, Holly (Ashley Puzemis) spends yet another week denying taking Coirseal. When Tate (Leo Howard) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) confront her with the pills that Tate found, Holly is absolutely horrified. She knows those pills aren't hers, but how will she convince anyone of that?
Johnny (Carson Boatman) knows that EJ is the one who planted those pills, so he confronts his father. Will he believe EJ's denials? Or will he finally say he has had enough and quit? Chanel (Raven Bowens) would probably be happier with the latter move.
Who do you think took Gwen? Will Tate give Holly the benefit of the doubt? Did Kristen bring on her own problems? Sound off in the comments!
