DAYS Hot Plots October 19 to 23: DiMera Dilemmas, Dangerous Moves, and Suspicious Minds

Expect the unexpected on Days of our Lives this week as we learn more about Dante Vitali. The hottest plots for the week of October 19 to 23, 2026, feature Sami's loved ones getting to know her fiancé, mothers reuniting with their daughters, and Coriseal story coming to a head.

Dante Meets the Parents

Roman (Josh Taylor) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) meet Dante Vitali (Franco Lo Presti) this week and get to check out their daughter's fiancé for the first time. What will they think about this Italian stranger who has swept Sami off her feet and given Sydney a job?

EJ and Dante also exchange words this week when EJ gives Dante the third degree and then calls him a liar when he doesn't like what he hears. What is EJ's angle? But more importantly, what is Dante's angle? Is he really just a man who fell in love with Sami and wants to marry her? There has to be more here than meets the eye.

Kristen the Mother

Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) gave some good advice to Sophia (Rachel Boyd) on Friday, which went something like, "Contact your mother and let her know you are alive." As a mother, she feels for Amy and immediately regrets what she did to Sophia, so now she is trying to make up for things in her own Kristen-like way.

So, Sophia does just that and locates Amy (Shi Ne Nielson) at the makeshift grave her parents made for her, with no body. Amy is stunned to see Sophia, but will the reunion actually take place or will Amy think she has just seen a ghost? Sophia can easily chicken out and run. But at least Kristen gets to spend time with Rachel (Lorelei Mote).

Other Salem Happenings

Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) moves into the Kiriakis mansion this week, but she has to watch her back because Bonnie (Judi Evans) is onto her and Alex nearly catches her standing. Stephanie (Abigail Klein) has already told Alex her suspicions about Joy and she does so again this week. Will they try to catch her in the act?

And finally, after Johnny (Carson Boatman) fires George O'Halloran, George goes rogue and finds Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander (Paul Telfer) in his lab. When Sarah won't put down the laptop, he pulls out a gun.
