Days of our Lives ends the month with some Halloween hijinks, as well as high stakes drama. The hottest plots for the week of October 26 to 30, 2026, show Sarah and Xander likely coming to their senses, Holly getting a big surprise, and EJ causing trouble as always.
The Shootout
The scene in George O'Halloran's lab is gruesome, as both George (Michael Rose) and Xander (Paul Telfer) have been shot. Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) tends to Xander and rushes him to the hospital as she struggles to save his life.
It looks like she succeeds because Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) is forgiving Xander for all his past transgressions by Tuesday. Perhaps that's what prompts Sarah to have a heart-to-heart talk with Brady (Eric Martsolf) by Thursday because on Friday, Sarah and Xander share an emotional reunion and the entire fandom can breathe a sigh of relief.
Sarah and Brady are over, which means Brady is left out in the cold again, but we hear a blast from his past may be returning. If not, Kristen is always lurking about town.
By Friday, Sarah and Xander share an emotional reunion and all is right in their world again. It took a long time getting here, but maybe it's time for Sarah to reflect on what she did wrong during their marriage. (Remember, she knew about the letter for months.)
All About EJ
Steve (Stephen Nichols) has a warning for Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) this week. Don't trust EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) and don't get too close to him. Anyone who does lives to regret it.
Johnny (Carson Boatman) learned that the hard way and EJ is his father. However, with the Coriseal mess behind them, Johnny and Chanel (Raven Bowens) are ready to move on. They even receive some good and unexpected news.
But EJ is one angry man and shows it when he throws something right at Stefano's portrait. Chad (Conner Floyd) even vows not to let EJ intimidate him.
Halloween Hauntings
Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) may have told Brady (Eric Martsolf) that she was going to seek mental health help and get better for their daughter, but that doesn't stop her from lurking about Horton Town Square with a mask for Halloween.
