Days of our Lives has an exciting week in store for our favorite Salemites and beyond. The hottest plots provided by the show for the week of October 5 to 9, 2026, tease two big returns that are bound to cause trouble. Plus, Johnny makes a daring move, and Rachel needs her mom.
There They Are
Life in Salem has been boring without Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and Sophia (Rachel Boyd) around to stir up some chaos. They weren't even a team for long, but when they were, it was loads of fun. Whenever Kristen is around, trouble follows, something Rachel noted when Aunt Susan paid her visit.
Kristen is still out of town, but she manages to track down Sophia, who is calling herself Amelia and waiting tables in a diner. Does Sophia have amnesia after Kristen conked her over the head or is she really trying to start life anew by waiting tables?
Does Kristen have any plans for Sophia? Is there a reason she tracked her down? Is it time for a little mischief-making again?
Back in Salem
Brady (Eric Martsolf) has more trouble with Rachel (Lorelei Mote) and needs to bring his daughter to the ER, but Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) is no consolation. She only wants her mom. Brady is forced to make a difficult call. Does he know where Kristen is and how to reach her?
There is more DiMera trouble in store as Johnny (Carson Boatman) tells all to Belle (Martha Madison) and implicates his father in a host of crimes, which is the last thing Sydney (Sydney Malakeh) wanted. At least she will be distracted by Dante Vitali's (Dominic Zamprogna) appearance in town when he surprises her in the DiMera living room.
EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) learns why his son has been avoiding his calls when Jada (Elia Cantu) brings him down to the Salem PD for questioning. He got Johnny in too deep and turning his father in was Johnny's only way out.

At least Chanel (Raven Bowens) is there to support Johnny as he faces his own legal trouble and asks his wife to make a promise. Will Johnny end up behind bars too?
Did Johnny do the right thing? Are you excited to see Kristen and Sophia back? Sound off in the comments.
