DAYS Hot Plots September 14 to 18: Beyond Salem and Back Again for One Wild Week

The DiMeras and Kiriakises clash once again on Days of our Lives. The hottest plots for the week of September 14 to 18, 2026, show Philip trying to save Titan, Johnny coming under fire, a Salemite returning home, and romantic lives going awry.

Overseas or Of the Sea?

The action overseas heats up as Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) and Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) try to win enough money to pay off that loan and save Titan Industries. But they are competing with Sydney DiMera (Sydney Malakeh) and Dante Vitali (Franco Lo Presti), so this will be easier said than done. Philip was sure he could do this, but now he is not so sure.

In Italy, Chad (Conner Floyd) and Belle (Martha Madison) find another clue in this chess set mystery and bring that clue home to Marlena, who is already disturbed by the vision she is having of Celtic knots. Marlena is especially alarmed when she realizes that the names Marino and DiMera both mean "of the sea."

As for Chad, when he gets back from Italy, the first thing he does is confront Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) about her ISA background. He is surprised that she hid such a thing from him when she claimed she had no more secrets.

Sydney Is Back

After the poker game, Rita (Maggie Carney) is happy to welcome both EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) and Sydney back to Salem. Sydney was only about five when she left, but she acts like she has lived in Salem most of her life. She was even pale and blonde the last time she had visited the Brady Pub.

Is Sydney back to stay and who does she even know in Salem? Are we going to pretend that she has old friends in her parents' home or will he truly become acquainted with this quaint American town after being raised in Europe?

Around Salem

Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander (Paul Telfer) reminisce this week, but that does not stop her from entering into domestic life with Brady (Eric Martsolf). At least both Xander and Brady are still helping Sarah solve the Coriseal mystery, as more suspicions rise about Johnny's (Carson Boatman) role in the coverup.

Holly (Ashley Puzemis) decides to have it out with Mason (Brandon Butler) once and for all, to what may be surprising results. And finally, Stephanie (Abigail Klein) becomes a sounding board for both Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) and Paulina (Jackee Harry).
