DAYS Hot Plots September 28 to October 2: Baby Shower Madness, Risky Business, and EJ's Dirty Game

Days of our Lives offers a bit of fun combined with a lot of danger and drama this coming week. The hottest plots for September 28 to October 2, 2026, find Chanel surprised by a baby shower she never wanted, Johnny trying to fix what he broke, and EJ continuing to make everyone's life a living hell.

Baked goods are in order at a bakery owner's baby shower. Chanel (Raven Bowens) is a tired new mom and cancer patient and does not want a baby shower, but Paulina (Jackee Harry) doesn't care and throws her one anyway. This looks like a shower for men, as well, since Abe (James Reynolds) is there. And Abe is happy and laughing.

And Paulina are happy and laughing. So is Sydney (Sydney Malakeh), for that matter. In fact, they are all laughing just a bit too much, which is odd to Chanel. But they are also all eating baked goods and she has a lot of medical marijuana on hand due to her cancer treatments. Did Lani (Sal Stowers) make some special donuts using Alice's recipe to spice this party up?

Repairing the Damage

Johnny (Carson Boatman) knows he is in too deep and has to find a way to clean up the mess he made by cleaning up the mess his father made. However, this will be easier said than done. It involves betraying his father again and staining their relationship.

Johnny ends up coming clean to Rafe (Galen Gering) about everything, which is basically the break that Rafe needs in his case. Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) is forging ahead with a dangerous plan to bring down EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) and Rafe might now be able to stop her.

More DiMera Problems

Xander (Paul Telfer) is also after EJ. (Isn't everyone?) When he learns what EJ has done to Sarah (Linsey Godfrey), there will be hell to pay.

But Marlena (Deidre Hall) is the most affected by the DiMeras this week when she sees her name listed as Dominic Marino's mother on his birth certificate. She begs Steve (Stephen Nichols) to keep this to himself for now, but of course, he appears to tell Brady (Eric Martsolf). Marlena also goes searching for answers and asks Rita (Maggie Carney) whether Dominic is really her son. What answer will Rita give and will she be telling the truth?
