With DiMeras and Kiriakises jetting off to Europe, expect quite a week on Days of our Lives. The hottest plots for the week of September 7 to 11, 2026, feature adventures overseas, as well as drama in Salem as EJ's machinations are far-reaching as always.
Somebody's Watching You

In Europe, someone is keeping their eyes on EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel), Chad (Conner Floyd), and Belle (Martha Madison). But all EJ can think about is Stefano's ring. He hates that it is not with him and that Rita (Maggie Carney) claims she can't find it. But Rita did find it, so is she the one who helps the ring fall into some very dangerous hands? By the end of the week, EJ gives Rita a new assignment.
Belle and Chad are determined to solve that chess set mystery, but take some time for each other. Things turn romantic as they take their relationship to the next level, but they also come across a new clue.
In Monte Carlo, Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) and Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) also work on the relationship, but they run into a familiar face when Sydney DiMera (Sydney Malakeh) puts in an appearance. She is ready for the same poker game. Once again, Titan's fate lies with a DiMera.
Crying Wolf?

Back home, Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) does everything she can to make things as difficult for Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie (Abigail Klein) as possible. She wants Alex for herself and will seemingly stop at nothing to make her dreams come true.
But it does appear that she is suffering from some very real medical issues. While she once again puts Alex and Stephanie between a rock and a hard place, she receives more bad news from Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) that Alex has to comfort her through.
Around Salem

Javi (Jacob Martinez) begins to confront his feelings for Leo (Greg Rikaart) this week, while Leo does some investigating into both Gwen (Emily O'Brien) and Cat (AnnaLynne McCord).
And finally, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) remains in denial about her feelings for Xander (Paul Telfer) as she and Brady (Eric Martsolf) take their romance a step further and Xander packs up the Kiriakis mansion. When Xander confides in Maggie (Suzanne Rogers), will she give him any good advice on how to win Sarah back or will she tell him that it's too late?
Do you think Rita is a "double agent?" Is Sarah being ridiculous about Xander? Sound off in the comments.
